The Leisure Mat Queen isn't really designed to be deflated with a pump. If you open up the valve and fold the mat over you can push out most of the air before you begin rolling it up.

To be honest, there aren't many options when it comes to bags that size. Our best suggestion would be to check out some of the swag bags. The Swag Bag - Wide Double or AOS Swag Bag - Queen are the two largest bags we carry, so either option should fit your mat, but will probably give you a similar amount of room to the original bag.

The packed dimensions of the Queen Leisure Mat when they're new are 155L x 30W x 30H cm. Once you've unrolled it and allowed it to inflate they will roll up a fair bit larger, the bag size is quite loose when they're new, so realistically I would allow for an extra 15-20cm in diameter.

We don't stock the Big Daddy swag however if the measurements are larger than the Oztrail Mattress which measures 195 x 150 then it should fit no worries!

The Leisure Mat Queen is a self inflating style mat with a flap valve, however if you had a 12V pump you could use one of these to help inflate the mattress.

The Leisure Mat Queen mat doesn't have a measured deflated thickness but having had a play with one of these the deflated thickness tends to be about 5-6cm thick, I'm not sure what you mean when you say 'was hoping to be able to roll in my mattress?' as the item is a mattress, but I'll leave it with you.

The Oztrail Leisure Mat Queen absolutely does come with a carry bag. You can safely store these mats rolled up in the carry bag but one comment worth mentioning is the foam does overtime develop a 'memory' of being in that compressed state so it's a good idea to unroll the mat a week or so before you head off on a trip to allow the mat to regain that inflated memory.

You're pretty much spot on there. You can safely store these mats rolled up but the foam will develop a 'memory' of being in that compressed state so it's a good idea to grab them out a week before you head off to allow them to 'remember' their uncompressed state. Whilst I'm sure it's a bit better in the long run to store them un-rolled, I've always kept mine rolled up in a cupboard and it's never caused me any problems. Just leave the valve open in case it gets warm and the air inside expands.

The Oztrail Leisure Mat Queen certainly is comfortable, however, it might be a little tricky to pack up solo, and it is quite bulky at 155cmL x 30cm diameter when it's rolled up so would only fit in your golf with the back seats down flat. You might be better off with a self-inflating mat that will fold in half then roll so will only end up around 70cmL x 25cm diameter. A few good options would be the Black Wolf Mega Deluxe Double, Exped Megamat Duo 10, or the Sea to Summit DLX SI Sleeping Mat Double.

On rare occasions, especially in an Aussie summer, the heat that can build up inside your tent could cause the air inside the mat to expand and cause it to burst (or damage the inner glues/materials). So it's always a good idea to pop the valve open in the morning just to avoid coming back to a bad nights sleep! In cooler weather you're ok but it's a good habit to get into anyway.

From comparing the dimensions, it would seem that the Oztrail Queen Leisure mat will fit onto the Oztrail Easy Fold Queen Stretcher. 

But you might want to keep in mind that Oztrail stretcher features a middle bar, so if you use a double or queen mat on top it will raised in the middle which might bother you. 

Two single mats or the Zempire Bomberpad Twin (which folds in the middle) might be good alternatives to consider.

Oztrail haven't provided an R-Value rating for this particular mat so it's a little tricky to give you a solid answer.

But if we had to take a guess we would say that it would perform similarly in terms of insulation to other 10cm camping mats that we have in our range - such as the Black Wolf Mega Deluxe Double that you have, which is the same thickness.

Whilst it is possible to fold the Oztrail Leisure Mat Queen in half before rolling it, it does make it very hard to roll and then store. I'd recommend just rolling it without folding it in half.

The Oztrail Leisure Mat Queen doesn't come with any official weight rating. Given that it's a foam filled mattress, it should be able to hold a lot of weight without any issues at all.

Given that the air is just used to fill the foam inside the mat, as opposed to an air mattress that is only air, it shouldn't make much of a difference, no.

Whether or not the Oztrail Leisure Mat Queen fits into your car depends a fair bit on what car you've got. As for rolling it up, I've actually got one of these and have no issues rolling it up on my own. Although, I should mention that I can't get it rolled up quite as tight on my own as when I'm doing it with someone else.

From what my research shows, I reckon you should be able to fit an Oztrail Leisure Mat Queen in your Kia Sportage.

This is normal for the Oztrail Queen 4wd mat. As the PVC is not bonded to the foam, you don't get the same type of even air distribution as you would with a bonded mat. Having said that, these mats may take up to a week to fully expand upon first use.

While the Oztrail 4WD Mat is an entry level sleeping mat, they are very rugged and can easily be placed on the ground. The foam insert within the mat offers a little more insulation against the cold compared to the air mattresses, the only downside is that the 4WD mat packs down much larger.

When considering warmth, remember that there are many variables including body temperature, material insulation (eg. sleeping bag) and many other factors which you'll need to consider.

The Oztrail Queen 4WD mat will fit on the Oztrail Easy Fold Queen Stretcher, but that particular stretcher has a bar in the middle so a double/queen mat will be raised in the middle on top of this stretcher. 

If that's going to bother you, a better option might be the Zempire Bomberpad Twin Mattress, as the design of that mat will eliminate that peak in the middle that some people find annoying or uncomfortable. 

G'day Mark. There are a few differences between the Black Wolf & Oztrail 4wd mats. The Oztrail 4wd mat is a great budget option, however the Black Wolf mat does has some additional features that the Oztrail mat does not. In terms of the comfort, I would consider the Black Wolf mat to be more comfortable due to the better quality foam used. The Black Wolf mat also is about half the weight of the Oztrail, and packs down to half the size so it's a lot more manageable when packing the car. Also Oztrail only offer a 1 year warranty, whereas Black Wolf offer a limited lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects. These are some of the reasons why you'll pay more for the Black Wolf mat, but it's a good investment if you can afford it :) 

These are non-bonded Lily. The foam sits inside the outer fabric without actually being stuck to it. You don't blow air into these mats, this would result in a big balloon with a slab of foam inside. All you need to do it open the valves and let the foam expand, the foam is firm enough to be comfortable without the need of air pressure.
