Staff tip:We recommend using the Exped Mini Pump (included) to assist with full inflation, and to avoid breathing any moisture into the mat. This mat requires extra time to inflate when setting up for the first time (we suggest 1 − 2 days).
Staff tip:In the Video, Tara mentions that the R−value is 9.5 for the Exped MegaMat Sleeping Mat which was the correct at the time of filming. Exped now test their mats to the ASTM F3340−18 standard, making it easier to compare brands and be confident in your purchase. Whilst the Exped mats have not changed, the R−Value has been updated in accordance to the ASTM F3340−18 standard.
