This is a queen-sized bag as advertised, the width of the bag is 150cm and the internal girth is 290cm. It would be suitable for 2 people or if you want some extra space.

G'day Barbara,

No, you can't. This sleeping bag has the valance attachments and zippers designed to be used as a stand alone sleeping bag.
There is a singular zip on the right hand side, but in order for this to be connected to another bag, the second one would have to be flipped upside down.The valance attachment makes this quite impractical.

The Darche Cold Mountain 1400 is a double bag option that can be zipped together, but it doesn't have the valance for mattress attachment.
If joining two mattresses together is the preferred feature, it would be worth looking at these.

Its unlikely sorry, the valance on this and the outback comforter are pretty snug on a 15cm thick self inflating camp mat.
Not sure how it would go on something much thicker.

Yes, this is machine washable in your normal washing machine. They also include some handy loops on the Sleeping Bag to hang it out to dry.
