Exactly what I needed

Our children/grandchildren sometimes come away with us. We sleep in the van, they use the tent. Very quick & easy to erect. Exactly what we need. Very happy.

Strong and Functional

We love our tent. Really quick to set up and so functional. As the inner is waterproof without the fly, we tend to leave the fly off for a one nighter. Great bag when all packed in but one does need a fair amount of space for it in your vehicle.
Also one needs to know the tent doesn't breath and some condensation will occur on cold nights.

Three months in a tent

Yes I spent three months touring right around Australia and spent each and every night in this tent. Highly recommended however there are a few faults. First and as always with all tents get a variety of decent pegs. The fly can be a challenge in any sort of a Breeze and mine seemed to be loose in the panels and a bit flappy in the awning area but the salvages were pulled tight so don't know how that came about. This tent needs to have some ventilation otherwise there is a problem with Condensation I never closed the inside roof vents and had no trouble with condensation.
I had ten days of rain at Carnarvon W.A. and never got a drop inside and nothing kept within the tent got any water on it and I still kept the roof vents open. The fly-screen zipper failed on the main doorway and apart from that problem all went extremely well.

Good Quality tent

Not sure it's that much quicker than putting up a similar sized tent by the time you peg it down but it has some great features. Love the extra height and it's very well made.. Snowys were great to deal with. Great price and service. Very happy with it.

Turbo tent 240 love it

We love the tent. Easy to set up and easy to pack away. We did find 2 small holes in the fly.We emailed and sent photos and they sent a replacement fly and told us to keep the one with the small holes for a spare.. absolutely wonderful people to deal with I would highly recommend snowy.

Great tent

This is an excellent tent, and the $595 price makes it great value. I have never been camping before prior to this weekend. This tent is really easy to put up and down. It was very windy, so as soon as I got the tent out, it literally put itself up. As it was so windy, I couldn't put the fly on myself. The tent was very strong in the wind! People with other tents packed up and left. The only downside was that the tent flapped a bit in the wind which was a bit noisy. Other than that, great tent for a novice or an experienced camper.

Top notch tent, and a top notch company. We have brought a couple of items now from snowys, and would have no hesitation in buying something from them in the future.

Room1 answer

Hi, I read on another site that this tent has two rooms. Is it really one room with the awning forming the second room?

- Footscray(1 year ago)

Hi Jess, this tent definitely has just the one room, but you can enclose the awning section with side & front panels to create a second room. However, the awning section is not completely weather proof, with the possibilty of some water coming in where the side panels join during heavy rain - so unless you're confident that the weather is good, I wouldn't recommend using it as a sleeping area.

What is the wind rating of this tent?1 answer

- WA(2 years ago)
G'day Dagne, Black Wolf don't offer an exact wind rating for their tents. Though from our experience we know the Turbo Tents are built for tough conditions. As long as your guy ropes are pegged out correctly and the weather isn't severe (gale force), you shouldn't have any issues.
