I've just checked the display model, and the 360 Degrees Travel Mug doesn't have a sipping lid. An option you might want to conside is the Camelbak Forge Divide Travel Mug as it has a sipping valve.
is the mug watertight?

Not only is this one watertight! It keeps coffee or hot chocolate hot for several hours. I have one of these in my collection of travel mugs (yes I'm a gear fiend) and they are absolutely great! Happen to drop it while getting into your car? No worries, a small dent but she's fine. Happen to knock it over while at your desk?
