Hi CS, we would like to know whether this range have L/R zip version so it can combine to become queen size bag. We prefer this material feeling and like to have hooded bag for us. Any other suggestion on our requirement?
G'day Aeson,
Unfortunately, while the Coleman Pilbara C-5 Hooded Sleeping Bag does have the option of purchasing either a right or left zipper, the zip is continuous from the base around and up the side. What this means is that to zip them together, you'll need to lay them flat on top of each other resulting in one hood being on the bottom and one hood being on the top.
We'd encourage you that if want to purchase sleeping bags that you can zip together and keep the hoods on the bottom, you'll need to look for alternating zips (as you are currently doing) and options where the zips are separate for the side and foot well.
Can you tell me if Coleman C-r opens up all the way around. What size is it when packed up. Comparing with Oztent Rivergum Sleeping Bag. Which would you consider to be better option with regard to function in the cold. Don't know how reliable the temperature rating is. They both have removable fleece liner which I like. Do they both have a drawstring to close in around shoulders. Thanks
