Durable steel poles that you can add to your set-up to extend all the awnings on your dome tent.
Especially useful for the Brampton and Galaxy tents where a continual shaded verandah can be extended on all sides making them great for warm weather getaways.
Made from galvanised steel and adjustable up to two metres, the Dome Tent Awning poles break down into 3 pieces for easy storage, as well as allowing them to, in most cases, pack away into your existing tent bag.
Can I use these poles with my Outdoor connection weekender tent?
G'day Joy,
Yes, you can use these Dome Tent Awning Poles with the Weekender Tent.
When the 3 pieces are joined together what is the minimum and maximum pole extension?
G'day Geoff,
You're looking at a range of around 125-200cm with the Outdoor Connection Dome Tent Awning Poles Pk2.
Do you know how big the foot cap is?
G'day Tom,
The foot cap is fairly compact, so it doesn't add much bulk to the pole. The poles are 2cm thick, and the foot caps bring it out to about 2.4cm in total.
Can I use this with OZtrail Gazebo Monsoon Rainfly 3.0 Awning?
G'day Naveed,
We generally recommend the Oztrail Awning Pole Sets, however, we can't think of a reason you wouldn't be able to use the Outdoor Connection Dome Tent Awning Poles.
Was wondering if this could replace the awning pole that is at the entrance attached to the cover of the tent?
G'day Chris,
Outdoor Connection has made these to fit the awnings on their own brand tents, but they should work fine as a replacement for any awning poles. I've just double-checked and the Dome Ten Awning Poles are adjustable height, with a maximum length of 2m. The adjuster is only on the middle pole so you can use the pole between approximately 1.4m and 2m in length.
I'm guessing you need to by guy rope for these poles (not a problem) but are there designated guy rope fixation points? Thanks
G'day Trent,
The Outdoor Connection Dome Tent Awning Poles don't come with guy ropes, no. When attaching guy ropes to the poles, there's a spigot at the top of the pole that goes through the eyelet of your tent awning, the guy rope attaches to this spigot above the eyelet.
