Awesome tent cot

I love it. I don't need the bigger expensive models. This one does the trick. It is lightweight, easy to erect and has plenty of ventilation for up here in North Queensland.

Do you have the rain fly that goes with this tent cot ?1 answer

Hi K-man! We don't stock the spare rain fly, but we could order one in from our supplier. If you'd like us to arrange that for you, please give us a call on 1300 914 007.

Width between legs when assembled3 answers

Hi, Would you be able to measure the distance from outside to outside of the legs where they contact the ground for me. I'm thinking of getting one of these or the oversize model to attach to my pontoon boat for overnight camping on the water. If it's not too much trouble could you also measure the oversize cot so I can compare. Cheers, Rob.

We don't keep these on display in our store sorry Rob, so I am unable to check dimensions for you at this stage. I have contacted our supplier to see if they can source some measurements for us, I'll post my findings back here when they get back to me, and if we clear enough space in our showroom to set one up, I'll make sure I take the measurements for you. Sorry I couldn't give you some quick answers.

Hi again Rob. Our Tent Cot supplier has called back with some dimensions that offer a little insight, but only for the Oversized tent cot. The join for the legs is 25 cm back from the ends of the tent, but they then angle back towards the end. I would estimate the legs on the Oversized tent cot to be about 200 cm apart, and the Original cot, only having two legs to be approximately 110 cm apart. As mentioned previously, if I get an opportunity to take these measurements I will be sure to do it for you.

Thanks Ben, Looks like I can only fit the original tent cot as I think the width of my boat is only 170cm. I'll go over and measure for sure and get back to you with an order. Thanks for your help. Cheers, Rob

How high off the ground is the mattress level?1 answer

- Wellington NZ(3 years ago)
G'day Peter, good question, and thanks for bringing this missed specification to our website, I have updated the information. We don't have an original tent cot one on display at the moment, but some research into the Kamprite products indicates that the sleeping surface is 11 inches, or approximately 28 cm above ground.
