Will this fit well in Oztrail BlockOut Easy Fold Stretcher Tent Single1 answer
I have the Oztrail BlockOut Easy Fold Stretcher Tent Single. Will this fit well?
Russell - Port Melbourne, VIC(8 months ago)
G'day Russell,
Yes, this would fit in there well. The mattress would take up the whole space and touch the walls, giving you a little less head height as the mattress is a bit thicker although a great fit and comfy mattress!

Sheets1 answer
Do you have a mattress cover or can recommend a sheet to fit the 15?
Exped doesn't specify a maximum weight limit for their mattresses, however, we regularly have people buy these mats who are 120kg and will often be sharing with another person, with no worries. The main thing is just making sure you're getting on and off the bed fairly evenly where possible, so you've got even weight distribution...instead of singular points of weight, like knees and elbows. Hope that helps.

Coupling 2 mats1 answer
Hi guys, how do the mats stay attached side by side? Are there attachment straps? Is this a good way of achieving a true ‘queen size’ bed? Also would it fit okay in an Oztent RV3? Thanks in advance.
Gary - Empire Bay, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Gary,
You'd use the Mat Coupler Kit, which you can find in the "You Might Also Like" section on the mattress product page. These are highly popular, so we know they do their job well. The two mats together would be 154cm wide, which is in line with a residential queen mattress. As the RV3 is 240cm wide, you shouldn't have any issues using this mat combo in this tent. Hope that helps!

Inflating1 answer
Hey guys, how long does it take to self-inflate after unpacking?
Ramon - Cromer, NSW (2 years ago)
G'day Ramon,
We recommend leaving the mattress out to inflate over a period of a few days, preferably somewhere warm, but out of direct sunlight. The mattresses have been factory compressed & remain in that state for several months until they reach customers' hands. This means the initial inflate can need a bit more TLC. It may also take a few trips & uses before that mattress reaches its full potential.

Stretcher? 1 answer
What stretcher would be best to pair up with this mat?
Kylie - Bundanoon, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Kylie,
Theres no best stretcher for any particular mats, it's just a matter of checking out overall stretcher size and going with one that best fits the dimensions of the mattress - 197L x 77W cm Majority of single and king single options will be fit no worries! The only other consideration would be the height of the stretcher, bearing in mind this mattress is 15cm thick, and adding that to the stretcher height. Eg. A stretcher height of 50cm will give you an overall bed height of 65cm, which may be too tall for some people.

Two side by side inside a Nebula 15501 answer
Wondering whether 2 of these will fit side by side inside a Nebula 1550? To fill the floor area and provide some independence in sleeping movement.
Peter - QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Peter,
Unfortunately due to the octagonal shape of the Nebula 1550 floor, you won't be able to fit two of these mats in. Darche do sell replacement mats that fit perfectly into the floor if you are needing a new one. People will often purchase a second one to increase the thickness and comfort.

Will this fit on an Oztrail easy fold Jumbo single stretcher1 answer
Looking at getting into camping again again after many years not doing any. I am after a really good stretcher and mattress. I'm 100kg and 180cm and a side sleeper. This stretcher seems good as does the Megamat LXW15. Would they fit together? Are they a good choice?
Paddy - Adelaide, SA(3 years ago)
G'day Paddy,
You can essentially pop any mattress on any stretcher, as long as the dimensions are right. The particular combo you're talking about would be a good fit, with the mattress sitting beautifully on the stretcher width-wise as it will sit between the bars. Whilst the stretcher itself is about 20cm longer than the mattress, this isn't an issue & won't affect performance of either product.

Deflating SIM 1 answer
Hey Snowys, Is it safe to use a vacuum to deflate the SIM quickly?
Ben - Kingaroy, Qld(3 years ago)
G'day Ben,
It's not something we'd recommend, as it may cause damage to the internal structure over time. We'd recommend opening up the deflate valve and laying down on the mat to squeeze out as much air as you can, then folding the mat loosely and pushing more air out. Once you've done this, rolling the mat up should be pretty easy, and any residual air can be pushed put as you roll.

Single suit a swag?1 answer
Would the mega mat max be suitable for a swag?
Julia - 3875(4 years ago)
G'day Julia,
As long as the mattress dimensions fit within the sleeping area of you swag you shouldn't have any issues. Only consideration is that it will most likely need to be rolled up as stored separately, as you probably won't be able to fit the whole combo rolled up into your original swag bag.

Coupling two mats1 answer
Great idea to be able to couple two singles, giving effectively a queen size bed arrangement. Do Exped provide, or do you offer some sort of strapping arrangement to keep two singles together to stop them moving around during the night? Many thanks..
John - 3163(5 years ago)
The Universal Mat Coupler Kit from Exped is ideal to use, John. We sell them here :)
