The same quick pitch tent we’re all so fond of, but with a different name – the Oztent Malamoo Cicara 1.0 will house you and your other half on your next camping trip.
This tent will change the way you camp, as it’s a true all-in-one tent. It has a built-in pole structure, plus an attached fly and guy ropes. All you need to do is take the tent out of its bag, and apart from adding some pegs, the tent will do the rest of the hard work for you.
The Malamoo Cicara has a dual skin construction, so it has a waterproof fly over a mesh inner with a single front entrance, combined with rear and side vents for excellent ventilation. When it’s time to pack up, the Malamoo folds flat into the included carry bag almost as quickly as it sets up for fuss-free transport.

Will a Oztent King Goanna stretcher fit?1 answer
If have an Oztent King Goanna stretcher. Will it fit inside this tent?

G'day Scott,
No, the King Goanna Stretcher won't fit in the Cicara 1.0 2P Tent. The tent is a curved design, and the stretcher is too high to fit without touching and damaging the side and end walls of the tent. We'd recommend sticking to a mattress in this style of tent.

Will I struggle at 6â€51 answer
I’m 6”5. I already have a Blackwolf turbo lite 300 but when I’m in friends cars taking that is not realistic. Would this be a good secondary tent? Looks like I’ll fit if it’s just me, based on the dimensions right ?

You should just fit in the tent with a little bit of room to spare. We've tested the tent out with a 200cm long mattress, so I'd say as long as you sleep on a mattress around that length you should be ok.

Yes, the Malamoo Cicara Tents are waterproof, and have a 2000mm waterhead rating on the fly, and a 3000mm waterhead rating on the floor.

Firstly fantastic tent so fast to set up and pack down and we'll built, wondering if you know if they have no see em mesh ( midge proof not sure on correct spelling I hope you know what I'm talking about).

The mesh Oztent use isn't No-Se-Um, so technically they're not midge proof. The mesh is fairly fine, so if you pair it with some repellant you should be safe from bites.

Door sealing 1 answer
Does the base of the door where the outer material zip cover that seems to sit upwards hold water when it rains it looks like it would fill with water and leak into tent

The external door has a flap on it that sits over the lower zipper to stop water entering the tent via the zip tracker.

Unfortunately, we don't have a display model cot to try this, however, I think based on length, the Cot Max Convertible will be a tad too long to fit in the Cicara 1.0 2P Tent due to the sloped ends and curved sides.

Exped Megamat Duo 10 LW+1 answer
Does the Exped Megamat Duo 10 LW fit in the Malamoo Cicara 1.0 (2p tent). It looks like the curved corners of the tent may pose an issue. If not does it more comfortably fit in the Cicara 2.0 (3p) or Cicara 3.0 (4p)?

The Megamat Duo 10LW is too large to fit in the Cicara 1.0 2P Tent. You'll need the Cicara 2.0 or 3.0 tent to fit the Dup matters, with the Cicara 3.0 being a more comfortable fit once you account for gear too.

Hi. Hi. The earlier version had issues with the black rods/poles breaking. Are the ones you are selling now the new version with the white rods/poles that dont have the same issue of breaking as the black ones did.

There were some issues with the Cicara 3.0 model, and Oztent subsequently made some changes, and made the second batch of poles white, as a way to tell the difference. Oztent haven't had any issues with the Cicara 1.0 model, so there is no differing pole issue with this model.

The Cicara 1.0 2P tent is 220cm long so your 197cm long mat should fit ok depending on the overall shape, however, it is hard to say due to the curved edges of the inner tent. I'd be happy to check with your mattress if it's one we sell, or this handy blog might help.

G'day David,
They wont fit unfortunatley, as the pop up tents have an ovular footprint. The dimensions given are the widest and longest, along the centre line and half line of the tent, but the curved 'corners' start almost immediately out from these points. You should be able to fit 1 mattress down the centre of the tent. The estimated delivery to Bunbury is 5-8 business days.

Hi there, we want the quickest, easiest tent to put up and use just for sleeping as we drive from Brisbane to Perth. We need to know if it will fit the queen blow up mattress, and how waterproof it is if there was a big rain? Also if it is raining, can it be packed up wet? Thanks

I've had a quick look at this for you and I'm not 100% sold that you'll be able to fit the Eurobed Queen Airbed into the Oztent Malamoo Cicara 1.0 2P tent. It goes right to the very corners and I do worry that with a bit of wind, added to weight on the bed (pushing it out) that you might end up just touching the sides. I think you'll be a little safer with the Cicara 2.0.
