Space for gas canister?1 answer
Does a small gas canister fit inside the kettle?
Janine - Rockhampton(3 years ago)
G'day Janine,
We're currently out of stock so I'm unable to measure the diameter of the lid opening. However, a small gas cylinder measures 9cm in diameter and 7cm high. As an alternative, I was able to measure the GSI Halulite Kettle which has an opening wider than this kettle and easily fits in a small gas cylinder.

Can this kettle sit directly on the grill plate of a Weber bbq?1 answer
Can this kettle sit directly on the grill plate of a Weber bbq?
Rachel - Perth(4 years ago)
G'day Rachel,
The Kettle is designed to sit on top of a lightweight hike style gas stove, so a Weber might pump out a little too much heat for this, depending on how much heat comes up through the grill plate. It's not something we'd recommend sorry.

Can this kettle be used with the Furno camp stove.1 answer
I'm looking at downsizing my camp kit and would like to know if this kettle will sit safely on the furno camp stove at capacity volume.
Anton - Dulwich Hill(4 years ago)
G'day Anton,
The Furno kettle is designed to be used with the Furno cooking sets - so it should sit safely on the stove.

Is this kind of kettle suitable for an open fire1 answer
Interested in a pot that can be used on an open campfire and a portable gas stove.
Anton - Dulwich Hill(4 years ago)
G'day Anton,
This Furno Kettle is best designed for use on gas stoves as it has silicone covered handles, and the hard anodised material can struggle with very high heat. We'd suggest a stainless steel billy as that should be able to handle both gas cooker, and an open fire.

Would this fit inside the Furno Large Cookset when packed?1 answer
Planning to buy both the Large cookset and kettle just wanna make sure it’ll fit together. Thanks.
Concon - 4059(5 years ago)
G'day Concon,
The kettle definately does fit inside the Large cookset. The inner saucepan of the set does hold a small washcloth and the pan handles, which dont fit with the kettle in their place, however they should fit along with the pots in the storage bag.

Just wondering if this would fit inside a 10 inch Bedourie camp oven. Thanks1 answer
Just wondering if this would fit inside a 10 inch Bedourie camp oven. Thanks
Natalie - ARNCLIFFE(6 years ago)
G'day Natalie,
I currently don't have a 360 Degrees Furno 1L Camp Kettle in stock to check for absolute certain but measuring the inside of the Bedourie against the measurements of the Camp Kettle, you should be able to fit the kettle inside quite comfortably with room to spare.

re 360 degrees cookware1 answer
Are the 360degrees kettle and cookware suitable
for use on open camp fire
Geraldine - Ocean Grove Vic(7 years ago)
G’day Geraldine,
I would say that it is possible to use this kettle on an open campfire, but it will likely blacken the bottom and sides, and you would have to be careful to lift it off the fire too - the handles are heat resistant, but I don’t believe they are designed to be exposed to open flame – so just keep those things in mind and be a little cautious.
