The Blitz 3 from OZtrail is going to be your new best friend for your next outdoor trip, as it’s all in one construction takes the difficulty out of camping. The poles are incorporated into the frame itself, and the fly is attached to the inner - so you couldn’t stuff it up even if you tried.
All you have is take it out of its bag and lay it flat, pop it out, peg it down, and your shelter is ready to go! The easy setup construction of this tent doesn’t mean that it won’t offer good weather protection – the fly on the Blitz is 100% waterproof and has heat taped seams to prevent leaks. And with no-see-um mesh windows, you’ll get plenty of airflow through your shelter. Getting in and out is a breeze in this tent as it has an easy to use D-shaped door, so you won’t trip or stumble when you need to make a midnight bathroom run.
It’s easy to lose track of your gear in your tent, which is why OZtrail has added two sidewall organiser pockets – so you can keep your valuables and essentials on hand at all times. Don’t get bogged down by your camping set up, for your next trip get yourself an easy pitch shelter like the Blitz 3 from OZtrail.
Tri hoop fibreglass pole system
D-shaped door for easy access
2 large side windows with awnings
No-see-um mesh for insect protection and ventilation
Should I apply a waterproofing product to this tent before first use? If so which kind? Or un-necessary?

G'day Andy,
Oztrail tents are waterproof so you shouldn't need to apply any additional waterproofing liquid. Oztrail elected to stop putting a waterproof rating on their products as they no longer test them for how waterproof they actually are. If you feel that the tent fabric needs some extra help, then I guess you could apply a coating for peace of mind!

Waterproof rating1 answer
Hi What is the rating in my for this tent Thanks
Sam - WILLETTON(5 years ago)
G'day Sam,
The Blitz 3 Pop Up Tent doesn't carry a varified Waterhead rating as Oztrail have not had the fabric officially tested. They do indicate that the tent is waterproof, but we're just not able to put a figure on it.

Ultra-compact packed size?1 answer
I read that this tent can fold up into an ultra-compact size, presumably smaller than the 104 cm diameter normal packed size. Can you tell me what the diameter is of the ultra-compact packed size?
Peter - Pretoria(5 years ago)
G'day Peter,
I've not heard Oztrail describe the Blitz 3 Pop Up Tent having an ultra-compact size. I've had a look at the Oztrail catalogue and also don't see them refer to this. As far as we are aware the only way to fold it up leads to the 104cm diameter packed size.

G'day Jared,
You won't have much room for anything else but you should be able to just squeeze your Easy Fold Single Stretcher into the Oztrail Blitz 3 Pop Up Tent.
