Grey Water Safe?1 answer
Are these grey water safe?
Bet - Tawonga South, 3698(4 years ago)
G'day Bet,
Your toilet should be emptied straight into a dump point or septic tank. They are septic safe, but generally, greywater is wastewater from the shower/bath/handbasin, and toilet water is referred to as blackwater.

Use Of Odour - B-Gone in Boats1 answer
I have a cassette type campa potee on my yacht. I only use my yacht occasionally. How long could I leave between emptying using this product. I currently use a combination of the liquids in both holding and flushing tanks
Greg - Canberra(5 years ago)
G'day Greg,
The manufacturers say that the tabs last up to seven days so if the yacht only gets used occasionally it might not be the best solution for you. One of the staff here suggested if your toilet is specially designed for use on a boat it could be worthwhile contacting the manufacturer to see if they have a clever solution for you.

Are the tablets to be used in the flush water and storage water?1 answer
Just wanting to know if the tablets are to be used in the top flush water and storage water or just storage water? If only in storage water do you need any other chemical in the flush water. Sorry a bit confused.
Alyssa - Taigum(6 years ago)
G'day Alyssa,
The Odour-B-Gone tablets are designed to be used in the holding tank not the flush tank. You don't need chemical in the flush tank, but if you wanted to use one the Thetford Aqua Rinse (Pink) or Dometic Extra Care Rinse Water Additive would be the best options.

Can I use these in the THUNDER DOWN UNDER? 1 answer
Or similar bucket type portable toilets with disposable liners
Hazel - Stockwell SA(7 years ago)
G'day Hazel,
The Odour-B-Gone discs are designed to be used in portable toilets and need to be dissolved in water to be effective, so we wouldn't recommend using them in a biodegradable toilet liner.

Is this solid disk the same as a liquid sanitizer?1 answer
If it does the same job and deodorises, would be much easier for storage than a liquid sanitiser.
Max - TORQUAY, QLD(9 years ago)
Hi Max, generally a sanitiser is used in the flush water tank of your portaloo to clean and sanitize the bowl/basin. The Odour B Gone tabs are for use in the waste water tank, and they are a suitable replacement for liquid waste water treatments. I hope this makes sense.
