It's hard to say and Coleman won't comment on other brands, only that it works with 'Regular stove operation on any Coleman stove top'. We can't see why it wouldn't but cannot guarantee the performance of the oven with the Primus Stove.

The 2 Burner High Output Stove is a much more powerful stove than the 2 Burner Deluxe Stove. The High Output Stove will pack a lot more heat, but also consume a lot more gas. While both are suitable for simmering we'd say the 2 Burner Deluxe will do a better job of dropping down to the low heat required to simmer.

The Primus 2 Burner Stove uses 180 grams of gas per hour so the burn time will depend on the size of the bottle you're using. The 3/8" bottles come in 1.25kg, 2kg, 3kg and 4kg, so you should be able to just divide the size you want (in grams) by the consumption. For example, a 4kg bottle should last approximately 33 hours.

Yes, the Primus 2 Burner Deluxe Stove will be suitable to use at your market stall. The stove has fairly variable temperature so should be ok for simmering.

Thanks for your enquiry. Looking at the model we have on display in-store, the drip tray is not detachable. However, the trivet is definitely removable, making it super easy to clean the drip tray and trivet.

The Jets supplied with the 2 Burner Deluxe Stove are spares, so you won't need to fit them unless you have issues with your jets down the track. Generally gas is fairly clean in Australia so it shouldn't be too much of an issue, and the jets in the unit should last a long time.

I've just tried the Campfire Steel Frypan Non-Stick 28cm out on the 2 Burner Deluxe Stove. This was a good fit so you wouldn't want to go much larger (max 30cm frypan). The side windshields are on a hinge that won't allow them to drop flat out to the side, but the lid can be dropped flat. This obviously won't really help to accommodate a larger pan so we'd recommend leaving it up.

Your 8.5kg gas bottle more than likely has a POL fitting and the hose that comes with the Primus 2 Burner Deluxe Stove is a 3/8" fitting, so you'll need to grab a Primus Gas Cylinder Adapter POL-3/8". The regulator is built into the stove so the adapter is all you'll need to get it going.

We've actually got a step by step guide over on the blog which may be of help which you can have a read of here. 

The 2 Burner Deluxe is a little different to the one we used, so the way to access the jets will be different. You'll have to take off the wire frame, unhook each leg one at a time, and then you should be able to lift off the top - from there just follow the rest of the steps on the blog and you should be good to go! 

G'day Tess. Storage of filled gas bottles does need to be outside of the van, in case of leakages. If your van is a towable, then a common place to store is on the A frame up front using bottle brackets. If your van is part of an all-in-one then I would suggest a call to a reputable reseller of this type of van to get advice. I would not be keen on recommending the bottles are stored on the roof racks as there may be issues with low hanging branches that could damage the lines and cause all sorts of unwanted situations from arising. Gas bottles should always be transported upright so wherever they are placed, they do need to be this orientation.

I've just checked our display model for you and the gas connection of the Primus 2 Burner Deluxe Stove is on the right hand side, and is right in the centre. 

This is a common question Clyde, and unfortunately the answer is no, you can't connect this to a low pressure system. It requires gas to enter the appliance at high pressure for safe and adequate performance. Unfortunately there is no straight forward solution to this sorry, other than to add another gas bottle to your caravan specifically for the gas stove.

These are the actual stove dimensions Scott. I had a look through our range and this is the smallest, or equivalent smallest two burner stove we have sorry.

It's a coarse thread hose on these Peter, so the HP600C will suit.

Hi Daniel, there is no need to add a regulator to this stove, you can add an adapter into the line to suit a POL gas bottle. As long as you use the hose supplied with the stove you won't have any problems.

Hi Mike, Primus and Companion all come under the same parent company nowadays, but there are still stoves labelled under both brands. I am unsure which two you are comparing, but in our range we have standard gas stoves from Primus which are designed for general camp cooking, and we have a Companion Wok Burner which is designed specifically for use with a wok. I hope this answers your question.
