This gas stove has everything you need to boil, fry, simmer and grill to your heart’s content on your next venture into the wilderness. The Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe provides you with the control you need to take your sauce from a simmer to boiling point, and the twin burner heads give you space to boil water and fry an egg at the same time.
Piezo ignition means that you don’t have to fumble with a lighter or box of matches – which is the last thing you want to do when you’re out in the bush. The burner is raised off the ground, so the heat won’t build up while you’re cooking and burn the surface it’s sitting on. The drop-down toaster can be folded down at breakfast and then closed back up again at dinner.
You won’t be straining your arm scrubbing as the powder coating makes it easy to clean and rust resistant. The rear and side windshield will stop any icy gust from weakening the flame, and it will keep any bugs or unwanted muck from crashing your dinner.
Can I connect this stove, using the supplied hose, to Swap & Go 4 kg gas bottle? Or would I need an adaptor? Thanks
G'day Ankur,
You will need to connect this to a Gas Bottle with a 3/8" BSP fitting or you can use the Companion POL to 3/8" BSP Straight Gas Cylinder Adapter or the Gasmate POL to 3/8" BSP Right Angle Gas Cylinder Adapter. Either one of these adaptors will convert the Swap and Go gas bottles (providing they have the POL fitting, usually a green tap) to a 3/8" fitting so you can then connect this hose.
The POL fittings on gas bottles are slowly phasing out and changing to the new LCC27 fitting. Swap and Go still have a mixture of both fittings, gas bottles should have a black tap if they have the new LCC27 fitting. In the case you have an LCC27 fitting you'll need an LCC27 to 3/8" BSP adaptor.
Can the burner jets be replaced and are they readily available?
G'day David,
Jets for Zempire stoves are not available to buy, which usually indicates they're not a user-serviceable part.
It doesn't mean it couldn't be looked at, repaired, or cleaned by a professional.
I'd recommend jumping onto BOC's website to find a Gas & Gear store near you that may be able to help you out.
At the very least they'd be able to point you to someone who can.
The grill looks like it has a large gap over flame. Doesn’t look like coffee pot will stand securely. Coffee is very important. 9.5 cm diameter
G'day Peter,
The gap is about 9cm so its going to be close. A really common and easy fix is having a small square of stainless mesh or some kind of trivet that sits over the burner to support smaller pots, or espresso makers. 100% agree - coffee is very important!
The Zempire website (https://www.zempire.au/2-burner-deluxe-002) has this one listed as 12cm high. Can I please confirm packed up it is 10cm and not any more! (I have a very shallow space to store it)
G'day Mike,
We've measured our display model all packed up, and it comes to 10cm high.
We are aware there can be discrepancies between tape measures, but we're talking a matter of mm, not cm. If it's bang on 10cm of space you've got it may be tight!! Its good to give yourself abit more room to play with.
Hello, I have a cupboard in my camper where I would like to store this stove. I know you have given dimensions for the stove but I would to confirm those dimension. I have 33cm to fit the stove in and have the stove being 32cm. if you could confirm that please. Thank you, regards, John Lander
G'day John,
Yes, the dimensions listed are correct, but we do advise allowing for up to 1cm discrepancy to account for the slight variation across different brand and styles of tape measures.
Hi - can I use the Gasmate UNEF to 3/8 BSP adapter to run this off a Coleman 453g Propane Bottle?
G'day John,
No, you can't. There is no generic compatibility with Zempire Stoves, as the thread on their connection is quite fine and requires a Zempire specific hose. The Coleman Propane bottles cannot be used with this stove for that reason, you could consider a 1.25Kg Gas Bottle as a lighter weight, more compact fuel option - plus they are re-fillable!
Ahhh. OK, thanks heaps. Am a bit nervous about the LPG bottles - is it OK to store one upright in a roof pod, do you think? Or could it get too hot? I don't really want to store it in the car, and we don't travel with a trailer and only have a standard roof rack...
G'day again John,
Ideally, you want to be storing your gas bottles somewhere with ventilation, so if the bottle does leak the gas isn't getting trapped.
If you have room to store it on the roof racks but outside of the pod, that would be preferred.
Essentially you want to make sure its tightly turned off, you can do a check with soapy water to make sure it's not leaking, store it upright in a position you can easily access. The heat in the roof rack pod may be a factor, but its hard to know for sure and would depend on the day i think!
Thanks Lauren. Am looking into a 2kg LPG bottle mount for my roof rack. Just to check: if I use the Zempire hose to come out of the Zempire, and that hose has a 3/8 BSP LH end, then I should be able to use a 3/8 BSP LH male to UNEF female adapter to connect a cannister, yeah? Thanks
I'm not sure what you mean when you say canister and UNEF connection sorry - the UNEF is not relevant to the Zempire stoves at all.
The Zempire hose has a 3/8th BSP end which will screw straight onto your gas bottle.
You guys sell a "UNEF to 3/8" BSP Gas Cylinder Adapter" that "Negates the need to carry bulky LPG cylinders for short getaways, once attached to a lightweight LPG cannister enables connection of your 3/8" BSP gas stove hose." https://www.snowys.com.au/unef-to-38-bsp-adapter#! It should allow connection of a Coleman 465g canister to the 3/8 BSP end of the Zempire hose. Anyway, I've ordered one and will know for sure soon! :)
Hi again John, yes, theoretically you can do this, the connections match. However, we do recommend proceeding with caution when doing this and ensuring that the adapter seals well with no leaks, and ensuring that the disposable canister is set up stably and securely.
Can this burner be connected to the gas on the outside of a caravan? Do I need a different or longer hose?
G'day Dana,
Unfortunately, you're not able to connect this style of stove to a caravan. There are few options that can be attached to a caravan, head over to this handy blog post for more information about what will suit, and the hoses you'll need to suit.
We have a Triton Griddle, would it fit on this stove and pack away inside it? https://www.snowys.com.au/triton-griddle
G'day Derek,
Unfortunately we don't currently have stock of the griddle to try this out for you, but based on the dimensions this combination should fit without any worries.
does this have a matching griddle or is there one best suited for it?
G'day Alysha,
We'd suggest the Campfire 2 Burner Gas Cooker Plate to pop on top of the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove.
Hi received the stove. How do I connect it to a 9kg. Do I only need an adapter or a regulator also?
G'day Melanie,
If you're needing to run your 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove with a 9kg gas bottle you'll need a POL to 3/8" BSP Adapter, this will connect directly to the end of the supplied hose so there is no need for a regulator.
can you please provide the details for the hose length
G'day Judith,
The Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove is supplied with a 60cm long hose.
Screw in Legs would be ideal to free up some table space, our camp table is very small as we're just in a family SUV!
G'day Adrian,
I can understand the space issue! I've checked underneath and there are no options to screw legs into the base of this stove.
Could this be used with a Coleman disposible probane canister?
G'day
The 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove is designed to be run directly from a 3/8 BSP LPG cylinder so in short, you can't run this stove from a disposable propane canister.
If not flat what angle do they fold down to???
G'day Tibor,
The sides unclip from the lid and fold down flat onto the stove, you then shut the lid to close the unit for transport. The sides on the stove aren't removable.
Where does the hose enter the stove?
G'day Gary,
The hose connection for the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove enters the unit on the centre right-hand side.
I would like to purchase a canvas bag to store the cooker in.
G'day Diane,
The Zempire Deluxe Stove Carry Case will do the trick for the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove.
Photo shows a drown down toaster but then you also list that as an option. Does the toaster comes with it?
G'day Gavin,
I went and had a look at the stove in its box and the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove does come with the toaster included. We have it in the suggested options in case you ever need to source a replacement.
The burner output of the Zempire deluxe stove is 12000 BTU each burner compared with the Primus 2 burner deluxe stove at 8600 BTU each burner but they seem to be the same unit. Any further information would be handy.
G'day Anthony,
The Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove packs a bit more brunt despite the similar look to the Primus 2 Buner Deluxe Stove.
Just wondering how big each burner area is with the sides fitted? ie, how big of a frypan can I place over each burner if running them both at the same time. Thank you
G'day Audrey,
I've just popped downstairs to measure this for you, and the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Stove has 47cm (length) of space when the windshields are up. I hope that helps, Audrey.
You can have a 25cm square frying pan and a 3L kettle/3L saucepan on this. It’s tight though.
Can the 3/8 to POL adaptor you have advertised be used to connect the Zempire to a 9kg bottle. As the Zempire has a built in regulator this would then mean a 9kg bottle could be used without the need for a POL regulator.
G'day Elizabeth,
If you use the hose that comes with your Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove and connect it to the 3/8" to POL brass adaptor, then you should have no issues connecting it to a 9kg LPG bottle.
Hi, just wondering if the Zempire 2 burner deluxe stove is the same size as the 2 burner classic?
G'day Aaron,
The Zemprire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove is listed as very slightly longer than the Zempire 2 Burner Classic Camp Stove, however they measured the same size when I checked them here in the store.
I am finding a common trend in camp stoves that they are ultra mega hot which is fantastic for boiling but this is no good if you just want to cook pan cakes or simmer a sauce or just warm your pre cooked meal. Can this stove do a good low temp simmer? or Which stove in your range does?
G'day Brenden,
The Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove does turn down to quite a low temp for simmering but depending on wind, outside heat etc. you might not be able to get it quite perfect for a simmering heat.
I'm interested in this stove but a 600mm hose is not long enough for me. Companion brands do a 1200mm hose in either fine (HP1200F) or course (HP1200C) thread. Will one of these hoses fit and if so are you able to supply them?
G'day Paul,
The hose you're after is the HP1200F (fine thread) with a current price of $22.90. It's currently available in store but isn't listed on our website. If you'd like to order it for delivery, just give us a buzz on 1300 914 007 and we can look after this for you.
.The "Zempire 2 Burner Classic Camp Stove" appears to have one large burner and one smaller Burner". In comparison - What size burners are on the "Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove?" Are there two large ones, two small ones, or one large and one small burner?
G'day Tony,
It may just look a bit different because of the angle of the product image, but I've just had a look at the display models downstairs and both the 2 Burner Classic Camp Stove and 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove have two of the same sized 8cm diameter burners each.
Can I also run the stove from a 9kg bottle?
G'day Stephen,
The Zempire Stoves (along with many other camp stoves) use a Schrader valve. Unfortunately, we can't find any hoses longer than the one provided to offer you. From my limited research, it appears you can't get a hose longer than 60cm with a Schrader valve to 3/8 gas bottle fitting off the shelf anywhere. However, a professional gas fitter like Maxbilt in Norwood, SA may be able to make something up for you.
You can, however, connect the Zempire Deluxe Stove to a 9kg gas bottle. All you would need is a simple adapter which is available here.
What is the difference between a " regulated hose and a non regulated one and what impact does this have on the stove/ cooking/ gas use?
G'day Brad,
The difference between a regulated and non-regulated hose is whether there is a regulator attached to the hose. The purpose of the regulator is to regulate the pressure at which the LPG is delivered from the gas bottle to the BBQ.
In regards to the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove, as the stove is already self-regulated (most camping stoves are self-regulated), you won't need or be able to use a regulated hose as this will result in a double regulation meaning that the gas flow will be impeded twice and hence won't have enough gas pressure to operate the stove.
Thanks for your question.
Just wondering if this fits a 9kg gas bottle or can it use something like a small Coleman gas bottle 453g
G'day Brendan. This particular stove is designed to fit on a gas bottle with a 3/8 fitting. The sizes of gas bottles in our range start from 1.25 to 4kg range with this fitting. The larger 9kg bottles generally have a POL fitting which is not suitable for this particular stove without the addition of a regulator.
I have a Coleman with a regulated hose, gas usage is very efficient, this is why I am asking before I up grade
G'day Ken,Â
The Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Stove uses a non-regulated gas supply, so you won't be able to use it with a regulated hose.Â
I'd recommend checking out the Primus High Output Regulated 2 Burner Stove -it's a little bit pricier than the Zempire, but it's regulated so it should be perfect for your use.Â
Hi Does this come with a Lpg hose?
G'day John,
I've just popped downstairs to have a look at the stock we have, and yes the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Camp Stove from Zempire does come with a non-regulated LPG hose.Â
