You could use this adapter to connect a Gasmate lantern to your 9kg cylinder. One thing to note is that the valve tap may or may not get in the way of the lantern depending on the make of the bottle.

If you've got a POL bottle then you'd need a right angle adapter, however if you're using a pole there isn't anything on these fittings to really make sure the pole remains upright and stabilised. We'd stronly recommend grabbing yourself a POL pole that comes with built-in stabilisers. If you don't want to go with that option then we'd just suggest proceeding with caution, but yes the screw mechanism to attach the adapter to POL means that you can keep the 3/8" BSP pointing up as you screw it in.

I'm a little confused by your question as most 2way fridges will have a hose that has an inbuilt regulator and POL fitting which you'll find as a swap and go. If you're wanting to run your stove and it has a 3/8" BSP fitting on the hose then this will do the job, but you don't need the right angle version, you'd likely be better off with the straight version.

You'll definately need the adaptor to fit a 3/8 connector to a POL cyclinder but it depends on the appliance as to whether you need a regulator or not.
