The Zip comes with the fuel can stabiliser, and the bottom protective cover doubles as a measuring cup. Compatible with all Jetboil accessories, the Jetboil Zip is a no-frills lightweight cooking system for individuals on the go.
Excellent system, amazing boiling speed. Worked really well for our 4 person trip! Just don't put more than 500ml in the cup or you will boil over!
Fantastic item, good service
Great value and super fast delivery. Highly recommend.
Works great, just keep a gas lighter or striker handy to light it.
Brilliant system to boil water quickly in any weather condition & at any altitude.
Lightweight & packs into itself. Excellent for hiking or backpacking.
Great service great price, quick delivery. Have recommended your goods to many people.
I can't really compare it with other systems as this is my first... but it was literally my best friend on a solo camp in very variable weather.
This is my second Jetboil. My first one went missing/stolen and could not go outdoors without having one with me. Snowy's service was brilliant. Even when they had a delay from their suppliers they promptly contacted me and delivered on the date promised. Will be shopping with them again.
Great service by Snowys, definitely will shop here again. The Zip is perfect for an easy boiling system. There is minimal jet control - it is pretty much on or off - so you will not be able to get any simmer control if needed. But other than that its amazing. Very stable and only 100g heavier and slightly larger than my MSR Pocket Rocket 2 and GSI Minimalist set.
I've been trying to downsize my pack weight (&volume) and saw the Jetboil Zip Stove. Whilst there are much lower weight stove, Zip delivers overall with very efficient gas use - thus less need to take an extra gas canister. Its a much quicker boil - the stove design means all the heat is captured on full boil rather than 'wrapping' up the side of pot as with other stoves. 800 ml capacity is more than enough for a 2 person dehydrated meal (around 430 ml water) 250ml Cup (measuring) is part of it.
Also bought a Jetboil coffee press as a bit of 'bling' for the camp fire. This fits neatly into the cup Important to have right grind of coffee - not too fine; and Jetboil Utensils very sturdy
The value of the Zip was far better than elsewhere and Snowys as usual, are excellent on service and response to enquiries
Hi How long does the gas bottle last on one of these and which ones are they (So I can see if I can get them locally)
Jetboil suggest that under ideal conitions you'll get 12 Liters boiled per 100g Jetpower canister, but in real conditions that might be a bit less. The canisters should be available in most good camping stores. If you click here the official Jetboil website can help you find your local retailer.
Hi team, Does the steel pot support come with this model? I've watched a few reviews and some have it and some don't. Cheers, Ray
Unfortunately, you'll need to buy the pot support separately which is available here.
Was looking at purchasing the jetboil
Gas is always sold independently but unfortunately, because it is classified as a dangerous good we cannot ship gas. The Jetboil canisters can be bought from most camping stores and you can also use any universal screw threaded canister, it just might not fit into the pot.
