Can you mount the tent across the car so it opens over the back of a dual cab or does it need to be oriented north south due to water ingress.
Tom - Port Stephens, NSW(1 month ago)
G'day Tom,
You can mount the Yowie Slim in any orientation that works best for your vehicle. There shouldn't be any issues with water ingress.

Yowie slim line1 answer
Can you place additional thick mattress, What is the mounting rail system because on the comparison there is no allowance for rail thickness with regards to overall height. What is the center to center distance of the mounting rails.
Tom - Port Stephens, NSW (1 month ago)
G'day Tom,
You can pop an additional thick mattress in here but you would need to pack it away separately each time you want to pack up the Yowie Rooftop tent as extra bedding won't be able to fit when you fold it up.
I have checked with 23 Zero and they have measured the Rail Thickness which is 25mm. The centre-to-centre distance on the mounting rails is 335mm.
