For weekend warriors who like to get outside and explore, house your gear in the streamlined and hydration compatible X-Trek 40 pack from Caribee.
The non-bulky shape of the pack means that it won’t get caught on branches as you hike, and the multi-compartment design ensures you have plenty of space to store your essentials. You can carry your load in comfort thanks to the Bioform padded harness and utility hip belt, and organise your gear in your pack thanks to the internal zip divider which separates the top and bottom compartments.
When you have a long journey planned, just add a separate 2 or 3L reservoir to stay hydrated, and you can lash extra gear you might need to the Molle attachment system on the outside of the pack. If you’ve got a full day of walking or hiking planned, fill up an X-Trek 40 with gear and you’ll be good to go.

What can it fit1 answer
Hi Snowys, I'm looking at getting this bag and a few other things from you. I was wondering if I could carry a tent, sleeping bag and mat for overnight hikes. I believe I can attach something to the bottom? I appreciate the help. If it can't could you please point me in the direction of something smallish that can. Thanks

G'day Mark,
Theoretically, you could probably fit a tent, sleeping bag and mat into the X-Trek 40L backpack, but it will depend on the size of these items. While you can attach things to the outside of the pack this can lead to the weight being unbalanced. We'd suggest checking out the size of your sleeping items and checking they'll fit in a bag this size.

G'day Jack,
I've passed this on to our resident videographer and he's added it to his list. Unfortunately, I can't promise when he'll be able to get onto it but keep your eyes on our Youtube channel.

what is the minimum height for this pack to be comfortable?1 answer
i am not a large person and i would like to know if this would be an effective pack for me.

G'day Jack,
Caribee doesn't specify a min or max user height for the X-Trek 40 Backpack. But you're in luck because I'm a shorter guy (about 165cm) and I've been onto the shop floor to try it on for you. It fits reasonably well as it's got plenty of adjustments you can make to the shoulder straps and top tension straps, and surprisingly the hip belt fits well around my waist. The only other packs I'd suggest from our range are the Deuter SL packs. They have a shorter back length and narrower shoulder straps than the rest of the Deuter range, so they may be a better fitting option than a more generic sized pack.
