10L or 2 x 6L for reliability1 answer
I'm going on a multi day hike in a couple of months where I have to carry my own water. Can I rely on the 10L water storage solution to not leak (stored in my pack) or should I get 2 of the 6L in case one springs a leak?....
Troy - Mount Hawthorn, WA(3 years ago)
G'day Troy,
They are quite durable, so there's no need to really worry about leaking. Personally, I'd opt for 2 x 6L purely so that you can even out your carrying weight a little more easily.

Pouring water into a water bottle1 answer
This may seem like a stupid question... But on the trail, how would you get the water from the watercell into a small opening like a 1 litre plastic water bottle?
Troy - Mount Hawthorn, WA(3 years ago)
G'day Troy,
These Water ST Water Storage bags are best paired with a reusable wide mouth water bottle. They have a carry handle that can be used to aid in pouring, but you might find you lose some water if pouring into a smaller disposable bottle-style lid. It might be worth considering the Watercell X as they have a different cap that features a smaller inner cap that would make pouring into a narrow neck bottle a little easier.

product differences1 answer
Can you please tell me what the difference between the ST and the X models?
Andrew - Cairns(4 years ago)
G'day Andrew,
The ST model is the streamline version and is made from a lighter weight material. The X model is made from a more robust 400D nylon and includes the option to hang it and use it as a shower too.
