Scented candles are great and all, but they’re a little bit hopeless in a blackout. Make sure you get yourself a proper lantern like the Vanquish Push 450 Lithium Lantern from Coleman to illuminate your way in the dark.
When you’re not using it around the house, take your lantern with you on your next camping trip – it can be hung up or set on the ground for a bright and reliable source of light at night. This bad boy is rechargeable, which means you’ll never have to buy batteries for your lantern again. To charge this thing up, all you have to do is plug it in using a micro USB cable, and the indicator will tell you when you’re good to go.
The tough exterior will survive being thrashed around in your tent, and the occasional bump in the dark for you clumsy folk out there. With 3 light modes, you’ve got every setting you need including flashing for emergencies (or a spontaneous dance party, you decide).

Looking for Warm White LED Lanterns to use in our Eco Tourism Business. Well made, ideally rechargeable. Like the look of this light.
G'day Justin,
The Vanquish Push 450 Li lantern only has a white function but no warm white function. The Biolite BaseLantern might suit your needs though, they have a colour temperature and intensity scale. You can also charge devices from the built-in battery bank.
Looking for more info on this lantern and comparison to the 550 lumens model. Main use required to adequately light a table of 4-6 people.
Hi Lee,
I've got one of these lanterns and find it more than adequate to light up a table, tent and living space for my family of four, it's also nice and compact.
The Vanquish 550 lantern will certainly give more light, the trade off being that it is larger. I also prefer the metal hanging loop on the 450, it's easier to fit into lantern hooks than the wide grip on the larger model. I hope this was helpful.
Hi Snowys, Can you please clarify lumen output - it is different to what's stated on the Coleman webpage (which is lower 270L on high) webpage is http://www.colemanaustralia.com.au/product/vanquish-push-450-li/1410230?contextCategory=0501 Thanks
G'day SJ,Â
I can understand the confusion there because the specs are different on the Coleman website, but I've just double checked the packaging of the Vanquish Push 450 LI Lantern and it reads that the lumen output is 450 on high and 50 on low.Â
I think it would be safe to say that 450/50 is the correct amount, as the rest of the lanterns in the Coleman range are named after the maximum lumens of the lantern - so it should be the same for this one.Â
