If you find that scented candles just don’t get the job done in a power outage, make sure you get yourself a proper lantern like the Coleman Pack Away 650 that’ll light your way in the dark.

The Vanquish Pack Away 650 is great to keep in the car for emergencies, in the spare cupboard for blackouts, or for your next group camping trip. These models feature a lifetime LED bulb, and have a clever battery lock system that enables you to disengage the battery when not in use. This is great for the occasional user, as you can store it away for when you need it and know the battery will stay functional for future use.

The carabiner handle makes this lantern easy to carry and to hang up when you need your hands free and with four lighting modes, you’ll have the exact amount of brightness you’ll need for whatever you’re doing. The tough exterior will survive being thrashed around in your tent, and the occasional bump in the dark for you clumsy folk out there as it’s been impact tested at two metres.

  • Lifetime LED Bulb
  • Compact and collapsible deign
  • 4 modes – high, medium, low and flashing
  • Uses 4D batteries

Very Handy

This light was great in our tent. We actually had two and had great visibility. Make sure you read the setup instructions closely.
