Three side panels in one with a little extra durability, the Black Wolf Turbo Deluxe Side Panel offers the protection of the traditional solid side panels in a more durable canvas fabric, and has the added benefit of a mesh window with a gusseted cover that can be rolled up, guyed out, or zipped closed.
Newly added is a PVC storm flap to better protect against wet weather, and to allow for a better fit across the different sizes in the range. The seams are now fully tape sealed as well to allow for improved protection against water leakage.
In warm weather you can unzip the mesh to allow for a cool breeze, or in adverse conditions you can zip everything up against the wind and rain.
Bought the side walls and the front wall. Excellent for closing in the awning space and getting protection from the wind. We camped in the wind and rain with it fully enclosed. Unfortunately we had water dripping coming through the top zipper. Bit disappointed about that considering how much these cost. Great for wind, not great for rain.
The addition of this wall makes the outdoor space more usable, especially in the rain. The window is worth the additional money, as you can have ventilation and still be protected from the weather.
although the side panels and front panel are quite expensive they are of top quality, fit on really easy and give you the option of which side you like your privacy when tent is pitched.Really happy with our purchase.
Bought new canvas front door and two side panels, one with a window. Its great having that extra space to keep things out of the rain and out of sight (chairs, eskys etc). Glad I bought the side panel with the window which really helped with ventilation during the hot days. All the panels held up really well with Meblournes recent down pour just before new year. The three extra panels really don't take up much extra room. Each come with their own bag.
Does this side wall reach the ground without leaving a gap between ground and bottom of storm flap? Im tall so is always as high as it goes.
As long as the awning poles aren't over-extended, there shouldn't be a gap between the ground and the storm flap of the Black Wolf Turbo Deluxe Canvas Side Panel.
Hi... Just wondering if the all the walls and sunrooms will fit as far back as the 2013 models also? Thanks
I've just given the supplier a call, and yes the current Turbo Deluxe Canvas Side Panel will fit on the 2013 Turbo Tents.
The 2017 side panels fit Turbo tents that have a 3 pole awning, but not the older turbo tents that have a 2 pole awning.
I've just had a look myself at the stock, and these side panels will come with 4 pegs included but no guy ropes.
Therefore, I would need to order two of these side panels plus the front panel to fully enclose the awning?
The Deluxe Canvas Side Panel is sold separately, so you would need to order two to have a pair (plus the front panel) to enclose the awning of your Turbo tent.
Does this side panel fit the 2016 model Turbo 300?
Howdy John. Yes the new and old sides are interchangeable with the old and new models of Turbo Tents. The actual basic design of the tent didn't really change with the arrival of the new model. This means that anyone with the 2016 model can still buy the brand new 2017 model sides and front and still know that they can use their tent with confidence. The only difference between the old and new model sides and front panel is the fact that it now has a kick panel at the bottom that goes all the way to the ground and some other minor changes.
Is it possible to buy two panels and attach them to either side so there is two windows left and right?
Yes these panels are universal and will fit on both sides of the Black Wolf Turbo 210, 240 and 300 tents. They feature a zipper window that can roll up and tie at the top to allow ventilation, and can zipper down securely with added velcro pads to prevent flapping in the wind and good protection from the rain.
Hi, i assume this then also fits the 450 size tent?
You've assumed correctly!
Is this the 2017 model that goes to the floor?
G'day Karen - Sure is the new 2017 model with the storm flap on the bottom. :) A great little improvement we believe. Cheers, Paul
