The Gasmate Turbo Stove is an all in one hiking stove that allows you to whip up hot beverages or meals – making it perfect for lightweight adventures.
Constructed from a combination of aluminium and solid plastic, this stove comes with an 800ml pot that attaches securely to the burner. This stove boils a litre of water in just over 3 minutes and has precise flame adjustment control so you also get it down to an exact simmer when you’re cooking a meal.
The Piezo ignition eliminates the need for matches, and the Turbo also comes with stabilising feet to attach to the canister to make cooking much sturdier. When you’re all done eating, all of the components fit back into the pot, so all you need to do is put it back into the included carry bag and stash it back into your pack.
For hikers and lightweight adventurers, the Gasmate Turbo Stove and Pot Set is a solid choice.
Is it still the CS300 model you sell? I'd like the one with the ability to use other pots
G'day Justin,
The CS300 comes with a trivet, so you can use it with other small pots.
Will the fuel canister and burner fit inside the saucepan for travel?
G'day Jane,
There are some sizes of canister that will fit inside the Turbo Butane Stove & Pot Set, they vary from brand to brand though, so it would be worth double-checking when you purchase some gas canisters.
Can not see the fuel canister I. Your catalogue
G'day Jane,
The Turbo Butane Stove will connect directly to a hiking style screw thread butane gas canister. We're not able to ship these due to their dangerous goods class, but you can pick them up in any camping store worldwide.
Does the pot lid have hoes to drain pasta like a colinder?
G'day Jane,
Great question! I've just checked our display model and there is one small oblong-shaped hole in the top of the lid approx 1cm long by .5cm wide not the colander style holes you're after.
Could you use the scout SS cook set on this? Is it secure?
G'day B,
The Turbo Butane Stove & Pot Set comes with a trivet so you can use other types of pots on top of it. The Scouts Cooking Set will fit well on top of the Turbo Butane Stove.
Is this compatible with the Jetboil frypan or cup?
G'day Sam,
I've just given this a quick whirl for you and to be honest, I'm not 100% happy with how it sits on top. I probably wouldn't recommend trying to use the Jetboil gear with the Gasmate Turbo Butane Stove just to err on the side of caution.
Does the set come with a trivet to be used with other pots/pans? i.e. is it the C300 model?
G'day Hannah,
I've just looked in our system, and this stove is the CS300 model. I've also just gone and checked the stock that we have and it definitely comes with a cooking trivet for other pots.
Which gas canister does this stove use?
G'day Willem,
You can use any self-sealing, threaded butane canisters to power the Gasmate Turbo Butane Stove & Pot Set. We have some in store that you can grab, we just can't ship them.
But it boils a litre of water in minutes?
G'day Pauly B,
Nicely spotted! The reason that the boil time it is measured in litres, is to give it an accurate comparison with other stoves in that category.
G'day Iona,
It doesnt, no but does have something alittle different! Instead of a series of small holes the Gasmate Turbo Butane Stove & Pot set has a single small elongated oval hole for draining liquid.
