From outdoor durability to interior serenity, the Turbo BLK Lite Plus 300 Tent by Black Wolf offers a fuss-free camping experience with more room to groove.
A triple coating of black PU on the inner fly absorbs light to reduce internal heat, working with the breathable 75D Polyester PU inner tent for adequate insulation and the full ceiling mesh for better airflow too. With reinforced tape-sealed seams and 150D Polyester full fly with a 3000mm waterhead rating, this tent stands up to the wetter weather owing to a lightweight but strong aluminium frame too. From kicking back to kicking about, enjoy a substantial 4.8m x 3m footprint space and get footloose on its robust 300D Polyester flooring that features a tough dope dye yarn. In windy conditions too, the reinforced pressure points – including those lining the roof poles – add both strength and durability.
From its dark fly coating to its lightweight frame, the Black Wolf Turbo BLK Lite Plus 300 Tent is the heat-absorbent adventure abode!

Is the BLK lite really better than the Canvas tent at staying cool in the summer months? It seems a bit too good to be true.
G'day Mark,
There's no official testing thats been done as far as I'm aware, so there's no guaranteed temperature variance with darkroom/light blocking tents.
General real life feedback from campers who do use these style tents is that it can make a difference in summer.
Ofcourse, if you pitch a tent in summer in the middle of a field in the sun, its going to become an oven regardless of what its made with.
The difference is how you set up your tent in summer, and the added support the darkroom technology can give to that.
Eg. set up in a shaded or cooler area, all awnings pegged out, and windows open to allow clear airflow and ventilation. In that case the darkroom/lightblocking technology would have a much bigger impact in keeping tent temperature down when compared to one without it.
Hope that helps.
Thanks Lauren, So probably better in the heat but still probably lacking in the rain?
G'day Mark,
They wouldn't be lacking in the rain - 3000mm waterhead rating fro the fly/tent, and 5000mm for the floor is more than adequate for the majority of wet weather camping scenarios in Australia.
Do the mesh roof panels have the option of zipping up in coer weather like some other turbo models?
G'day Rachael,
The vents on the tent are built in to the fabric and can not be closed up. Even in the cooler month, this will certainly help with avoiding any condensation issues.
