Are you able to stand up in this tent properly? 1 answer
We purchased the Tanami delta 3, which is great for weekend, but after that our backs got sore. Looking for something a little larger we can stand up inside of.

G'day Shelley,
Completely understand your predicament. It depends on how tall you are. The Black Wolf Tuff Dome Plus is 190cm at its peak but then falls away from the middle by approximately 10-15cm.

Additional Shade 1 answer
Hi there,
I purchased the tuff dome plus last year and I would like to include some additional shelter to the front of the tent for sitting, barbecuing etc. As far as I am aware there are no awnings available for this product. Could you please confirm. If there is not an awning, is there another shade coverage that you would recommend for the front of the tent?
Greg - Sydney(7 years ago)
G'day Greg,
Nice choice of tent. You're right, there are no purpose-made awnings or shelters to go with the Tuff Dome Plus. However, you can simply place a gazebo or sun shade of some description at the front of the tent to provide a shelter to cook and relax in.Â
Have a gander at our gazebo range to see if anything catches your eye. To choose the right one, you need to consider what you're wanting to put under it; size; whether it needs to provide just shade or rain protection too; and your budget.
If you have any questions about any of the shelters, let me know. Cheers, PaulÂ

Can this tent be erected by one person? 1 answer
I have a Coleman 'easy up' 6 person tent which I can easily erect by myself even though the instructions say 2 people are needed... so wondering about this one

Hi Marg,
This tent will require some help to setup unlike the Coleman instant up 6 person tent, as this tent inner doesn't come with the poles pre-attached. So you'll need to actually connect the poles together before feeding them through a sleeve each and securing them into their respective eyelets and then finally attaching the clips.
After this is complete, you'll then need to get the outer waterproof fly over the tent and secure that in place as well. This will also be easier with two people as the 2 metre height can be difficult to clear by yourself.
If you are setting up a tent by yourself, but still want a large space to sleep in there are several tents that would suit your needs. Please call us on 1300 914 007 and have a chat to one of our team members to help you choose the right tent for your needs.
