I am going camping at Tailem Bend soon and the ground there is very rocky and found it hard to use regular tent pegs. Will these plastic screw ones do the job securing my tent?

My thoughts are that plastic isin't the best option for hard, compacted, rocky ground. I'd suggest looking at the Hex Peg range which is the same principle but the pegs are made of steel. This is more likely to penetrate rocky ground without the pegs breaking.

We have had mixed reports about the strength of the plastic in the Triton Screw Pegs. I would say they might be an issue in high wind conditions. Hex Pegs are a popular option, they come in stainless steel
What size drill bit does it need? In case I lose the drill adaptor.
