Weight rating? 1 answer
Hi I can't see a weight rating on this? I ask as a friend has a larger frame (130kg) and just wanting something sturdy
Brad - Tumut(4 years ago)
G'day Brad,
Trekking Poles don't generally come with a weight rating as they are not a weight baring product. They are purely designed to help keep a steady walking rhythm and assist with keeping your balance on rough terrain. They are a great accessory and can relieve overall fatigue and stress on joints, etc but as long as you are not using them to bare a load you'll be fine. Ultimately though I wouldn't stress too hard. Trekking poles are pretty tough and can usually take a hammering. Hope that helps, feel free to give us a buzz on 1300 914 007 if you want to chat more about options!
