Head for the hills while carrying around your essentials in the Trail 24 SL from Deuter.
This pack is designed to cater to women so it has a slimmer fit, with a shorter back length for comfort and Delrin U frame for stability. The Aircontact back system features open cell foam padding which keeps the weight close to your back, and an auto-fit belt with pull-forward adjustment to distribute your load efficiently. To keep off a drizzle just use the removable rain cover, put your dirty clothes in the wet pocket, essentials in the outside pockets and stash keys or your phone inside the valuables pocket.
It’s easy to carry gear such as your trekking poles on the attachment loops, and you can drink hands-free by adding a separate bladder as this pack is hydration system compatible. On your next outdoor mission, load up your essentials in the Trail 24 SL from Deuter and you’ll be ready for anything.

What height range is this pack suitable for? - described as 'shorter back length'
Anna - LEABROOK(3 years ago)
G'day Anna,
Deuter suggests that users with a torso length of 33 - 50cm will suit the SL harness. Deuter says to start at the C7 vertebrae, the (bump on your spine at the back of your neck - some protrude more than others) - and measure the distance to your iliac crest (bump on your lower spine, between the top of your hips). If you measure greater than 50cm, go with a standard back system. If your torso length qualifies you for SL packs but you've got more broad shoulders or a thicker build, you may still find more comfort in a standard Deuter system.
