At 185cm height, the Roman Tracker 4VD 4 person Dome Tent is not only high enough to stand in, it also features an extended vestibule and awning poles to open up the living and storage space in the tent.
Equipped with a geodesic frame and a 300mm waterhead rating, the Tracker 4VD is stable and dry in bad weather, yet features front and rear doors along with covered side windows and roof vents for optimum ventilation in warmer climates.
Quality components including durawrap poles and UV protection on the fly ensures your purchase provides you with reliable shelter for years to come.
Can you please tell me the overall size of the 4VD including the front vestibule. Would you recommend this over the Zempire Neo 6.
Hi Corey,
The Roman Tracker 4VD tent itself is 240cm long and 220cm wide and if you add the extra 120cm of the vestibule/awning area it takes it to a total length of 360cm (there's a picture of this on our website in blue as picture 3 if that helps give you a better idea).
In relation to the Neo 6, I guess it depends on what your preferences are. The Neo 6 is slightly larger at an overall 460cm long (including vestibule) and 240cm wide. Apart from that, the only big differentiating points are the additional 2.6kgs of the Neo, the fact that the Neo has an enclosed floor in the vestibule area and that the Neo 6 has a longer warranty period.
I hope that answers your question, feel free to give us a call if you have further queries.
Cheers
Hi there are 2 photos does this tent come with the awning as you see it in first photo?
hi looking at this tent or the 3vd tracker. my concern is the warmth for winter camping down to about 5c,. do the inside windows have flaps on them? it has a rear door? the windows on the vestibule have flaps?? stability in winds good for a large dome? im 195cm and maybe 3v is too small? hard to find a dome tent suitable for cooler camping they all seem to have a lot of mesh inside thankyou
how long does it take to set up the tent? can it be set up by a single female, first time camper?
