How good is this liner as a summer sleeping bag please ?
G'day Malcolm,
This will depend on the overnight temperature, what you're sleeping on, and what you're sleeping in. I have personally used one of these in warmer climates on a self-inflating mat inside a tent before. Overnight temperatures were in the high 20s, and I didn't get cold. I do however recommend always carrying your sleeping bag, as this won't be able to fully replace a sleeping bag.
Hi, It's states that the colour is yellow. Just wanted to confirm whether the liner itself is black or yellow? Or is it referring to the stuff sack that is yellow?
G'day Henry,
Great question and I'm sorry our info isn't 100% clear!
The liner itself is black, as per the picture, and the stuff sack is yellow.
I don't want to be too raestricted when I insert into the liner insert around my feet. Will I regret ordering the tapered liner ?
G'day Bryan,
The Sea to Summit Thermolite Reactor Liner tapers about 10cm from the shoulders. The benefit of the liner is that the fabric is quite stretchy. While I can't speak for your opinion, common feedback is that the stretchy fabric makes the liner feel un-restrictive around the feet.
Hi there, do you sell the Reactor Extreme liner as well? Thank you.
Added to the roman mummy -5 deg sleeping bag, will it keep you warm and toasty in temps of around -8?
