Named after one of the deadliest snakes in Australia, the Taipan HotSpot Chair from Oztent will easily slink its way into your gear stash thanks to its lightweight design.

This chair has a light magnesium alloy frame with heavy-duty aluminium armrests that work together to provide a 150kg weight rating. The seat is fully padded and made from 600D diamond polyester with adjustable lumbar support to keep you comfortable. Unlike its reptilian counterpart, this chair has four insulated pockets which can hold up to 4 HotSpot pouches, and you get 2 HotSpot pouches included to keep you toasty warm at the campsite.

Keep your favourite beverage in the insulated drink holder, and stash the carry bag in the headrest for easy storage when you’re at the campsite so you don’t lose it. The strong, light and warm Taipan HotSpot Chair from Oztent provides convenient seating comfort for all your outdoor adventures.

I am thinking of buying this chair. If I buy this am I able to return online it if I'm not happy with it. I live in Victoria so I can't come into the store to try the chair first.

How does the size of this compare to the oztent pilot chair, particularly with the seating area.

G'day Carolyn,

The sizes of both of these chairs are very similar, however the Pilot is about 10cm wider in the seat area.
Both chairs have similar depth and overall height, aswell as seat height.
Given the Pilot is abit wider, it does have a slightly larger pack size.

Unfortunately not. As this chair has diagonal quad-fold legs, there isn't a compatible attachable side table option.

Generally, yes. Much like clothing, the fabric, materials & stitching of camping gear that is intended for frequent use (such as chairs/stretchers, etc) will soften with use.
