Feeding a tribe - well, maybe not that many, but a small group? The Jetboil Sumo, MiniMo's big brother, is the cooker for you.

The 1.8L pot is enough to boil water for 4 x 2-Serve Back Country Cuisines, and will house either a 100g or 230g fuel canister for easy transport. An improved valve and regulator facilitates the best simmer control of any upright stove on the market, and maintains performance down to -6°C.

Fired-up at the push of a button, the Sumo features a drink though lid and measuring cup that protects the pot base when in transit. The stabiliser is included and clipped into the lid for storage, and the burner comes with it's own velvet bag to protect the inside of your pot.

Made with hard anodised aluminium for lightweight performance, the Jetboil Sumo has robust metal handles, an insulated cosy over the pot and is perfect for adventurers on fast and light missions anywhere in the world.

  • Bigger pot (1.8L) than its baby brother the MiniMo
  • Excellent simmer control
  • Improved valve and regulator
  • Included stabiliser
  • Piezo ignition

Great Unit

Much faster than waiting for the kettle to boil on the camp stove. It is a little tight to start with when disconnecting the cup from the burner after you have boiled some water, but it does loosen up after a few uses. I use this with the 450g Primus ISO-Butane canisters with no problem, Jetboil original canisters are way too dear and hard to come by in the 450g size.
