can i use this steamer rack instead of a 12qt trivet having trouble finding a 12qt trivet

G'day Dennis,

You can absolutely use this steamer rack as a trivet, but you may want to cover it with foil or baking paper as the gap between the wires might be too big, depending on what you are wanting to cook.
There are no 12 Qt trivets that we currently stock.

G'day Ray,

When you select the size it will update the in-use dimensions. I've double-checked and the 2Q is approx 15cm, and the 4.5Q is approx 25cm, so depending on what you're trying to fit it in, the 2Q might be a better option if you're looking for 20cm diameter.
