A shoe with superior grip, performance, fit, and stability - the Speedcross 5 by Salmon is designed for running flat-out without falling flat on your face!

This runner features a Contagrip TA sole with durable and adhesive chevron lugs, so you can grip wet and muddy terrain without stacking it on the track. With an OrthoLite sock liner, a deeper EVA heel cup for added support, and a moulded, high-rebound EVA midsole for lightweight stability and cushioning - Salomon has customised this shoe to fit you perfectly. The mudguard around the base of the shoe keeps them from collecting dirt when you’re on the move, while the Quicklace system means you achieve the perfect fit without the laces coming loose.

I have an older pair of version 4 , UK6 - would this size still fit me?

Yes, the same size guide applies to version 5. Just be sure to double-check the US size, as all of our shoes are listed in US sizes. The Salomon UK6 is a US 7.5,

G'day Kellie,

The Speedcross 5s don't have a waterproof lining, so some water will bead a little on the surface, but if you're running through wet grass, you'll end up with damp feet.

We currently only range the Women's Speedcross 5 in the normal width, but we do have the men's version of this shoe in a wide fit.
