What’s the difference between this and the Salomon Soft Flask 500ml/16oz Speed2 answers
They both look the same from the photos apart from the colour of the cap and that one is 16oz and the other is 17oz...although they are both 500ml?

G'day David,
Thanks for getting in touch. Salomon doesn't offer any specifics around the Thermomoulded bottom but the runners among our Snowys team suggest that the moulded bottom secures the flask inside the vest pocket and reduces excess movement/flapping of the pocket as water is consumed and the flask becomes empty. They are both listed as 500ml/17oz, so I'm not too sure where you're seeing the 16oz reference.

The "Speed" has a bigger cap and fills up faster!!

Whats the difference between this and the non-Thermomoulded bottom? Whats the purpose of the bottom

G'day Jason,
Great question mate! Salomon doesn't offer any specifics around the Thermomoulded bottom but the runners among our Snowys team suggest that the moulded bottom secures the flask inside the vest pocket and reduces excess movement/flapping of the pocket as water is consumed and the flask becomes empty. Hope that helps, cheers :)
