Compatible with RV2, RV3, RV4 & RV5 Models
Camped at Bindaree Hut Camp Ground ove the Queens Birthday weekend this was just the trick to keep the ice off the Weber when temperatures reached -5 overnight! Didn't stop the Bourbonfrezzing though! Definately needs a spreader bar.
The rv5 tent is brillant. We used the awning to provide shelter for eating and relaxing
If you want a bit of extra shade/space under cover than this is the perfect add on. It even roll up with the original awning and the oztent still fits in its bag!
I use my side awning to park the tray of my ute underneath to use as an undercover kitchen bench that works perfectly. I also leave the side awning attached and simply roll it up with the front awning to save pack down time...Would also recommend to purchase an OZTent spreader pole to give more support to the awning poles in high winds..
Can the awning attach to left or right side or one side only
This little beauty attaches to either side of the RV tent awning.
Already have RV5 and Foxwing. Just want to know if this is interchangeable
I've just spoken with Oztent, and they've said that the Side Awning doesn't have a zipper on the far end so you won't be able to attach it to the Foxwing awning unfortunately.
Good question - from what I can determine from looking at our display tent, there is only one zip option for each side, which means you can put either the side or the awning but not both.
It has a double zip so that you can still use the side panel in conjunction with this side awning.
