The palm-sized Rebel from Nebo Lighting is a task light and rechargeable headlamp in one – so it’s perfect for the multi-tasking outdoors person.

The base of the Rebel is magnetic, and it has a rotating removable steel clip so using it hands-free is an absolute breeze. Constructed from high quality anodised aircraft-grade aluminium for strength without the weight, this light is also water and impact resistant for your peace of mind. With four modes available – low, high, turbo and strobe, you’ll be covered for all kinds of lighting applications. This unit provides a huge 600 lumens on maximum, making it pretty powerful for its size.

It comes with a rechargeable battery which is super easy to charge up via the included magnetic USB to Micro USB cable. And in terms of comfort, the head strap is adjustable so one size will fit all. If used on the Low setting, would it cast a wide beam over (say) a camp-site?

G'day Richard,

The Rebel Tasklight will give you 60 lumens and a 28m beam distance on low, so yes, you'll get a fairly wide beam over your campsite.

Will it clip to a hat brim1 answer

..without its weight bending the brim too much?

G'day John,

You can clip this light to a hat brim, however, depending on the type of brim you might find the weight pulls the brim down. A cap style brim should be fine, but a lighter weight nylon style hat, you might find doesn't handle the weight too well.
