Coleman Queen Double−High Quickbed Airbed

In terms of size and shape both of these airbeds are the same. The newer All terrain version has the following features that make it slightly different to the Quickbed version.

• 47% more puncture resistant, 25% more stretch resistant and 30% lighter than standard Coleman airbed of the same size

Unfortunately not, due to the height of the mattress, it won't quite fit inside this tent. We'd suggest having a look at a self-inflating mattress option that will sit closer to the ground, and therefore won't be affected by the curve of the tent sides.

The Coleman Queen Double-High Quickbed Airbed does come in a carry bag. To be totally honest with you though, I've always struggled to get them back into the bag that they come in, so it might be worth your while looking at investing in a slightly bigger bag to save yourself some headaches.

Unfortunately, we don't have any double high airbeds in a single size I'm sorry to say. 

You don't need a Coleman specific air pump, Mandy. The valve is what's knows as a common Boston type, and most pumps that are made for the purpose of inflating air mattresses will have a fitting that will suit.

You certainly do Marta, an airbed offers no insulation from underneath, you are basically sleeping on a body of air that is the same temperature as the air surrounding it. You can improve the warmth by adding a layer of foam or a number of blankets between your body and the airbed, this will create an area in which warm air is trapped (insulation) which will keep you warmer. It's a matter trial and error to work out how much insulation you need, but if you really feel the cold it may be best considering a foam filled self-inflating mattress.

It depends on your pump An, some have a higher air flow than others. You would be looking at 2 - 5 minutes on average to inflate this mat. In comparison to the Aerobed, the extra height of this double high airbed will make it easier to get up and down from, but the overall comfort of the two are pretty much the same. The Aerobed also had a raised head section but you would still need to add your own pillow for comfort. I would choose based on whether you want the extra height.

Good morning Monique. This mattress is not self inflating, you will need a 12V or 240V pump which are available on our website. Alternatively, there is a version with a pump built in which you can find by searching for product code 36575 on our website. There are queen sized self inflating mats, but they are only 10cm in height.

Hi Michelle, I had a similar question about Coleman air beds a while back, and the official response from our Coleman representative is that they don't give specific weight ratings but they do test their air beds to weights in excess of 300kg.
