New to camping and have got your heart set on an air tent, but you’re not ready to shell out the big bucks? The Pronto 4 from Zempire is their best value for money air tent and a perfect way to wet your feet.
This tent is compact, lightweight and has one single inflation point to increase stability. It’s designed with an airflow roof to provide exceptional ventilation making it ideal for warmer climates. Side storm gussets are engineered into the roof and prevent wind-driven rain on wet days while allowing warm air to escape, therefore reducing condensation. The SeroLink™ frame system attaches the tent directly to the fly and reduces weight and bulk. Plus there’s also the added feature of being able to cinch the rear of the fly up when additional ventilation and airflow is needed. Keep the interior of your tent clutter-free by using the protected rear vestibule area for storage that’s accessible from inside the tent with a zippered open/closure.
On those beautiful days when you want to open your tent right up, the main door has been designed as a 360° fold away with twin layers – 1 solid door and 1 mesh door. For a simple design that’s quick and easy to pitch and perfect for a summer getaway, you can’t go past the Pronto 4 from Zempire.

Zempire Pronto 41 answer
1. The is described as a "summer" tent. Would you recommend using it in winter (down to 0 degrees and no snow) with good sleeping bags? 2. The pictures show two different awnings - a gull wing and a straight sided awning. Which one is it, what is the awning's dimensions and does the awning close the front door of the tent? Many thanks.
Gary - Sydney(3 years ago)
G'day Gary,
The Pronto 4 can be used in winter down to 0c without any issues, you'll most likely just feel a little cooler than a tent with a solid inner, so make sure you've got some good quality insulated mats and sleeping bags. The awning is a gullwing awning, the straight-sided awning photo is how it will look if you roll up and secure the side flaps of the gullwing. The front awning can be rolled back and secured but is separate to the twin layer 360° fold away main door. In terms of the exact size, unfortunately we don't have this information available from Zempire, and there is no stock available to measure at the moment. Based on the schematics Zempire has supplied us, we'd estimate you'll get about 150cm x 220cm of coverage.

How do the sides of the tent stay dry?1 answer
The fly doesn't come all the way down on the sides, so how is rain stopped from entering through the sides of the tent?
Graham - Zetland(3 years ago)
G'day Graham,
The fly helps to provide structural stability and reduce condensation, but the tent material itself is waterproof. The side panels have dual-layer windows, that when zipped shut offer excellent rain protection

Seasons1 answer
Hey, what seasons would this tent be good for? I live in Victoria. Thanks
Kelly - Northcote(3 years ago)
G'day Kelly,
The Pronto 4 is classified as a 3 season tent, as the roof has mesh panels that are not able to be closed. The sides have dual-layer mesh / solid window panels, however, the top doesn't. These tents will suit most Australian climates, and when paired with insulated sleeping mats and good quality sleeping bags, you can use these in Australian winters as long as there is no active snowfall when you're camped.
