Add warmth and luxurious comfort to your sleeping bag or hostel bed with the Silk Traveller Liner from Sea to Summit.
Made using premium AA grade silk, this lightweight and compact liner has a luxurious feel that is ideal for keeping your sleeping bag clean and improving the thermal performance of your sleeping bag. With polyester and lycra panels along the seams that stretch with you as you move around – this liner is perfect for the restless sleeper. The added pillow pocket also keeps a pillow in place or can be stuffed with extra clothes to form a comfortable place for your head.
This liner is double folded, machine washable and features reinforced seams for long-term durability. If you’re after a high-performance liner that’ll keep your sleeping bag clean and add extra comfort and luxury when you’re travelling– the Silk Traveller Liner from Sea to Summit is exactly what you need.
I've only used this in the current US summer as a stand alone sleeping sack, and it works quite well for 15 degree nights. Plenty of room to slot your pillow into the hood, which works well. If you like your feet to breathe, these bags might not be for you. It's light and packs up to the size of a tennis ball, but is a real squeeze to get into it's quite tight bag...takes a bit of strength/technique to do so, which could be tricky for (no offence intended) kids or older people.
Yet to use it in cold situations, have no doubt it will add plenty of warmth. I have used it on its own without a sleeping bag in hotter conditions and it is fantastic. Folds up extremely small and is as light as a feather.
Storage pouch for liner supplied ?
The Sea to Summit Silk Travel Liner comes with a little storage pouch that the liner fits nicely back into when you're not using it.
Was about to buy but wanted to check if this was the latest and newly revised version with the stretch panels along the side. The one photo suggests so, but the description does not. Hope so because I'm eager to buy. Thanks!
The new liners from Sea to Summit are the Expander Liners which can be found here. These don't have a stretch panel so to speak, but rather are completely made of a stretchy poly-cotton fabric.
I'm with Nathan on this one. The new models have a comfort stretch panel up the seam. You guys seem to sell it in the 'regular' size model. Does this model have them too, or are they the older solid seam versions? Can't tell without the packet picture
G'day Nathan and Josh,
My apologies for my confusion. Yes - the Sea to Summit Silk Travel Liner - Traveller have a stretch panel along the side. This happened some months ago before the expander liners were released. We haven't updated our website to reflect this, but I'll ensure that we do.
