These tabs will prevent unpleasant gas and odour build up in your holding tank, and will also assist in breaking down waste into liquid to help with disposal.

Having this product in tab form enables you to get a very precise dose and is easier to use and cart around when you’re out and about. Just one dose of this product is enough to take care of a 20L tank, so it’s an efficient and portable solution to all your waste related woes.

How much water do you add to the tank with the tablet?

G'day Lesley,

These are is soluble pre-dosed tabs, that you just chuck one in per waste tank. Doesn't really matter if yu have a larger or smaller portable loo, one will do the trick - no need to ad water, it will dissolve on its own with the waste.

Why make a product like this that hampers / limits ultimate disposal1 answer

There are better "green" alternate products that work for me that ARE safe for septic tanks. Like septic tank principle actually uses helpful bacteria to do the job!!

Thanks for your feedback, I will pass that on Dometic who are the manufacturer. Here at Snowys we do also offer a range of 'Green' options. The Biomagic Heavy Duty Treatment is Septic safe and a popular option.

How many days is one tablet effective for?1 answer

The liquids are generally effective for only 4 days, the no more odor tabs (currently unavailable) are effective for up to 7 days.

septic system1 answer

what I actually met can we empty our portable toilet into a septic system. e.g some caravan parks have septic systems. Can we empty them into that system

You still won't be able to empty your toilet into a septic system, as it will kill the bacteria that makes septic systems effective. If you use the Power Care Waste Water Tabs you will need to find an authorised waste disposal point. If you're unsure, it may be best to call ahead to the location to check what disposal options they have Graeme.

The Dometic Power Care Waste Water Tabs are made to be used in portable toilets, so they're not going to be suitable for a septic tank.
