Hello there, Are you able to elaborate on the fill material used in the bag? What is Insulfil Thermo® with Thermaspace®? How does it compare to other synthetic fill materials? I’m looking into this bag for hiking purposes in the shoulder seasons.
G'day Aaron,
The Insulfil Thermo® with Thermaspace® is a type of synthetic insulation that has been specifically designed for the Palm sleeping bag range. It is designed to reflect body heat back to you and keep you toasty warm. It's hard to give a direct comparison between fill materials as each brand tend to develop their own materials. The Roman Palm Visa Sleeping Bag has been independently tested under the European Norm (EN) so you can be sure that the listed comfort temperatures are accurate.
There are packed dimensions in the specs. I was just wondering if it could be squashed any smaller, if so what are those dimensions?
G'day Liam,
The packed size on the website is the uncompressed size. I've just squeezed one down as much as I can and I was able to get it down to about 24cm long compressed.
Hi, can you join two of these bags together thanks
G'day Sean,
I've just double checked this one with our display model and yes you can zip two of the Roman Palm Visa Sleeping Bags together. It's worth noting however that because the bags are tapered, they'll create a trapezoid type shape.
My partner is 185cm and I'm worried this bag might be too short? How long is it from the foot to the opening (under the chin)? Thanks, Warrick
G'day Warrick,
You're after the Maximum User Height which is 185 cm, so it's going to be touch and go. I'd personally recommend looking at a longer bag just to ensure your partner has enough space and is comfortable.
