The Black Wolf Overall is a strong and durable carry bag that fits snugly over your travel pack or rucksack to protect it from rough treatment or conditions while in transit.
This pack cover is ideal for preventing the straps being caught on conveyors at airports, and effective to keep your pack clean and dust free. It also has a shoulder strap, a grip handle for easy carrying, and a clear window panel for displaying your address.
When you're not using it, the Overall from Black Wolf comes with a carry bag for storage and transport.

Too big for a 50L?1 answer
Will this be way too big for a 50L Osprey back pack? Its measured dimensions seem to be sightly smaller than the Osprey Airporter Rucksack Travel Cover - Medium (87 x 39 x 37cm) which is said to fit backpacks 45-75L (but the osprey is slightly lighter too). I also cant seem to find the Black Wolf Overall in the 50-65L range you have mentioned anywhere.

Unfortunately yes, I think your 50L Osprey pack is probably going to drown in this. I have one of these for a 60L Deuter pack and its too big for that. Unfortunately, Black Wolf no longer make the smaller version of the overall. At this stage, we don't have any pack covers that will be small enough for your pack.

How does the zipper run on this cover? Only around its top?

Yes, the zipper on the Overall 65-90L cover just runs around the top of the bag. You just feed your pack in, zip it shut, pop a padlock on and you're good to go.

Just ordered a Deuter Helion 60 wheeled backpack and looking for a cover for it - will this be too big? Tried looking online for the smaller one but can't find it anywhere. Can you use straps to reduce the size?

Thanks for getting in touch, the Overall 65-90L is the only size that we've got. They are just one size though, so they're not able to be made smaller with any adjustable straps. However, you shouldn't need one of these for a Helion 60, these have a zip away cover for the harness so you can pop them on a plane/bus/train etc. The Overall is generally designed to put hiking packs in that don't have the zip away feature.

Just wondering the acutal physical dimensions of the open bags. Doesn't mention anywhere only ltrs of the backpack it goes over and packed dimensions

I've stuffed one of the Black Wolf Overall 65-90L Bags on our shop floor with some paper and plastic to measure it when full. It measured at about 90 x 50 x 36cm.

I've just checked with the info provided by the brand, and it doesn't mention if this pack is waterproof. We think it may offer some protection in a light drizzle, but as this bag is designed to protect your travel pack when in transit, it doesn't have specific waterproofing properties.

If you mean the two sizes available, Black Wolf makes an overall in 50-65 and also in 65-90. We only stock the 65-90.
If you were referring to these two numbers, this just means that this Overall fits packs within the 65 litre to 90 litre capacity range.
