Would this fit packed in a rooftop camper?1 answer

We have the Darche panorama 1400 rooftop camper and are looking for a blanket we can pack and close it down it rather than store in the vehicle during trips. We have the 1400 RTM air mattress to give extra room. Would this fit?

The Outdoor Blanket isn't too thick, so I think with an RTM air mattress you should be able to fit the Outdoor Blanket in when you pack it away.

I've just checked the wash tag on the Outdoor Blanket and they list it as hand wash only, so yes you can wash it but would need to wash it in a laundry tub or large basin.

Compression sack for 21 answer

What size on the sea to summit would be good to hold two blankets? Any reason to use two bags?

I reckon you might be able to get away with the X Large sack mate! It'd be a tight squeeze but not impossible :) I've just been and had a look at the blankets and they do squish down a fair bit from their packed dimensions (55L x 16W x 16H cm), possibly even enough to fit the X Large In-Use Dimensions of 58L x 27W x 27H cm on the compression sack. Unfortunately, I'm unable to unpack all the items to guarantee it though mate and I wouldn't recommend you use the sack for long-term storage of the blankets but if you're just after ease when out adventuring, it could be worth a go :) Cheers!

Hi Matt, I've updated our website with these details. Uncompressed the Black Wolf Outdoor Blanket measures 55x16x16 cm. It comes with a storage bag and some straps to compress it further. If you were to place it in a compression sack (purchased separately) you could probably squash it down to about 60% of this size.
