Both the Coleman Mudgee and Pilbara range have pinch stitching, although reviews of these bags and other barands that use the pinch style tend to demonstrate its not a huge issue.
Pitch through stitching has more of an impact on down bags, or technical synthetic bags that are designed with a greater loft that standard camping/4wd bag insulation.

The Coleman Mudgee C-3 just comes in the colour shown in the images which is a two-tone blue, with a stone-coloured lining.

Yes, you can unzip the Mudgee C-3 and open it up into a blanket. The zip can also be opened at the foot end so you can stick your feet out. You can theoretically zip two together but one person will end up with the scoop neck style hood a little over their face.

Yes the Mudgee C-3 can be machine washed, we'd generally recommend a gentle cycle as you suggested.

I've just checked the display model we have downstairs, and yes the Mudgee bags from Coleman can all be unzipped and used as a blanket.

The Coleman Mudgee C-3 Sleeping Bags' "hood" is more just an area to place your pillow, it doesn't wrap around your head like the youth version does.

I've just compared the specs and features from the 2016 catalogue to the 2017 one, and it seems apart from the colour and stitching the Coleman Mudgee C-3 has the same features.
