Sturdy, reliable, and made to last – the Scarpa Moraine Plus Mid GTX shoes from Scarpa is a waterproof mid boot for hikers, bushwalkers and adventurers alike.
The upper is made from a combination of full-grain nubuck leather for durability and polyester mesh for breathability. This boot also features a waterproof Gore-Tex liner which will keep your feet dry, while also allowing your feet to breathe. This boot also features a rubber toe cap, that will protect your feet from impact from any obstacles along the way.
The dual density EVA midsole will absorb impact, and the Vibram sole will cushion the sole of your foot, while also being lightweight. The mid-cut design of the Moraine Plus Mid GTX will hug your ankle securely while going up steep trails and provide you with that extra stability when you need it most. G'day Damian,
The Scarpa Moraine Plus Mid GTX Men's Boot has a built-in waterproof Gore-Tex liner which, like with all Gore-Tex fabrics, will keep your feet dry, while also allowing your feet to breathe.
These boots are a really sturdy and durable option and from my brief research, they seem to be a suitable option, however, we're not very familiar with what's required for the New Zealand South Island Great Walk. For the best advice as to whether they will be suitable for the walk, you're best to consult information directly made available by New Zealand locals, tour operators or those who have a regular involvement with the walk.

Thanks, when will you have stock in Brendale store to try on?

G'day Damian,
I'm sorry, we don't sell any footwear at the Brendale store. You would need to try the shoes out somewhere else before making a decision or purchase.
