Hi, I'm 192cm - will I fit in? The details of the Micros (0 degrees) also says max user height 200cm? What other leighweight sleeping bags do you have for taller guys?
G'day Jan,
While it's possible that you'd be able to squeeze into the Black Wolf Micron 220 Sleeping Bag (-4°), it's likely that your comfort will be compromised. The best thing to do if possible would be to see if you could somehow try one out before purchasing online as ultimately, only you can make the best decision when it's this tight.
We've got a double listing error on our web page for the Black Wolf Micron 150 Sleeping Bag (0°) and the Max User Height is in fact 190cm for that one also. Sorry. We'll look to correct this now. Thanks for pointing it out.
Does the hood have a draw string?
G'day Robyn,
Firstly, I've just checked the washing instructions on the Micron 220 Sleeping Bag, and it says that you should hand wash it carefully in a bathtub with warm water and mild soap.
Secondly, the hood on the Micron does have a draw string so you can get an extra snug fit when it's cold!Â
Just wondering if the stuff sack is waterproof at all? Also they come rolled, are they best rolled or stuffed to store?
G'day Ros,Â
The stuff sack on this bag is not going to be waterproof because of the stitching, but the fabric will offer some water resistance.
As for packing, Micron 220 has a synthetic fill so stuffing it in it's sack will actually maintain loft better, plus it's a lot easier to get it in the bag this way.Â
