An advanced navigation compass for global adventurers, the MC-2 Mirror Compass from Suunto is the perfect companion for your off-grid expeditions.
The MC-2 has a mirror which allows you to sight a direction and also signal by flashing sunlight and a quick globally balanced needle with jewel bearing. This compass has a 20-degree tilt margin for easier readings, a clinometer, adjustable declination correction, and liquid filled capsule for stable operation.
You’ll be able to read a map easier thanks to the magnifying lens on the baseplate, and the luminescent markings will help you navigate in low light. If you need a robust and precise mirror compass that can be used worldwide, then the MC-2 Mirror from Suunto is the model you can depend on.

does this compass read in degrees or mils?
G'day Lloyd,
This compass is read in degrees - you can tell by the 360 points around the compass ring.
Mils compasses will usually have between 0-64 points around the compass ring.
Hope that helps!
