Made to last, the Jolly Swagman Matilda XXL swag is a roomy swag for one in a traditional, compact and durable design.
One full-length side zipper secures a single canvas cover, while an insect-proof mesh end panel is closed with a second zip. The Matilda swag is pitched with optional guy ropes and/or adjustable head pole through a heavy duty eyelet, while an included foot pole keeps the canvas off your feet.
The mattress is made up of medium density full-length foam on top, and high-density foam on the bottom which is cut shorter to support the torso. This progressive density design provides maximum comfort and minimal bulk.
Made with tough 15oz proofed TearCheck™ Canvas on the top, and 17oz on the base, the Jolly Swag range is finished off with high-quality components throughout.

Does this have the same set up configuration as the AOS Bushman swag?
Simon - Wodonga(5 years ago)
G'day Simon,
The Matilda XXL Swag has a very similar setup to the AOS Bushman Swag. The whole end can be enclosed from insects with the secondary zipper.

fly screen1 answer
is it possible to have full fly screen with this one. my son is big boy - over 6 foot and gets pretty hot and gets eaten alive by bugs.

G'day Louise,
I've had a look into the Jolly Swagman range and they don't offer a inscect screen or shield as an extra for this swag. In our range we sell seperate mozzie domes, but they won't be suitable for this swag as the low slope of the Matilda XXL makes it too small to fit anything in it.
Keep in mind that mosquito nets need to be elevated off the body for them to have any effect, which is why I can't recommend one of those either.Â
I'd say that you may want to consider a different model such as a dome swag with mesh panels for plenty of ventilation.Â
The Simpson X Large Swag from Burke & Wills is 2m long (so should accomodate up to 6"5 approx) and has mesh at the head, foot, and in the middle so it is a perfect option for tall people who tend to get overheated when they sleep.Â

Hi Chris, we do not sell the Matilda XXL with the zip, but if you give our sales staff a call on 1300 914 007 we might be able to sort something out for you.

Zip down the length1 answer
Hi,
It's hard to tell from the pic, but the zipper that is opens down the length of the Matilda, is that just canvas or is there also a second zip so you can have the fly screen?
Jason - ACT(8 years ago)
The only mesh portion is at the head end Jason. The zipper down the side secures the canvas but there isn't a second mesh layer down the length. I think I have understood your question, let me know if this hasn't cleared things up for you.
